Either you hate them all, or you like some of them make the choice. If you want to be selected soon, then pick either your most popular fic, or the one you are most proud of and maybe want more people to read.
No one said it had to be recent, or the fan favourite, or even the ones that were suggested -- if you have one in mind that is a favourite of yours that you would like exposure for then suggest it otherwise ask for your name to be taken down from the featured stories list. The sooner Mare gets input from authors who know what they would like featured the sooner she can plan out the months ahead.

The task of choosing a piece of your own work is such a hardship that you'd rather no one read anything you wrote? Wow. That's kind of surprising. I'm just curious but what on earth inspires you to keep writing if you hate your own words so much? You don't like anything you write, and you don't want anyone to read it?

I like my own writing, and have 3 story ideas currently that I'd like to write but have no energy to write. I think most of my feelings come from being wiped tired lately. I would like people to read my stuff sure, but trying to think of one that I want people reading and discussing that's something I am not sure about.
I haven't had time to read the stories that are featured and dicuss them anyway so I wouldn't feel bad if I wasn't featured.
And now, I'll stop hijacking this thread. If anyone must reply PM me.
