Both sound like good ideas. I have never seen the second one in fanfic form I believe.

Just carefully think it out before you post. That's what I would do. Write a few chapters and then figure it out from there. Maybe you can write one chapter for both stories and see which one hs the most promise?

Yeah, I see how they're similar but not something you could probably make into one fic.  If it helps at all, your second idea already exists as a Goosebumps book called "Say Cheese and Die" LOL.  The first one has been done too... I'm thinking of that movie with Will Ferrell that came out a few years ago; I can't remember the name now, but I know Mare will know what I'm talking about.

Stranger Than Fiction :) Loved that movie. They ripped off  5 BSBs in Search of a Plot lmao.
