Hi everyone, I'm new here and I was wondering how to post a story I want to write. I read the rules but how do I start writing and posting it with the other stories??

First of all welcome to the board.

If you want to post a story, you have to do it on the main site which is http://absolutechaos.net/ 

This board is for talking about fanfics and things like that but not posting stories. If you want to post segments of your work though,  you can do that on the Author's Inquisition child board behind the scenes.

I know "where" I have to post a story I just don't know "how", I need a button that says Post story here lol I get this

But there is nothing to click "below". Does that make sense?

At the bottom of the submission rules if you scroll down there are fields for you to fill in yor story info such as title, rating, summary, what genre you're writing etc... If you don't see it try going to add new story again

Do you have an account set up on AC? That's the first step.

Once you do that all you have to do is go to account info then in your user account page you click on 'add new story'

It'll then take you to the page you just linked me up to and then under number 6 it says if you accept these rules please choose from the categories below and then there are a ton of categories (BSB, Buffy, etc...) and there is a box to put your summary in and first chapter etc...

If that box is not showing up after you've tried all of that I have no idea why, but that is what you should see when you you get to number 6. (When I just tried it, it worked for me.)

Let us know if it's still not working at that point and maybe if you PM me your user name I might be able to try it for you.
