Felix Award for Best Cliffhanger (21)
« on: August 01, 2009, 03:50:34 PM »

Shawn (offended): Gus!

Gus: Eventually all running jokes become funny.

Shawn: And all good jokes must come to an end. So, the Felix for Best Cliffhanger goes to:

With runner up:

Chaos: Quite honestly I didn't expect to be here tonight in any capacity tonight other than to applaud others. I'm just amazed that people still remember my very first BSB fic all these years later. I truly appreciate everyone who has taken the time to read my stories and especially those who have commented or even just prodded me for an occasional update. Thanks!

Nick: Thanks for not actually killing us, by the way.

Chaos: The sequel isn't done yet...

*Nick gulps*

*NCIS has pulled Sinara from her seat*

Ziva: Have you been working on any new projects lately, Katie?

Katie (aka Sinara): I've been dabbling in other fandoms outside the Backstreet Boys. Just trying to get my creative juices flowing. The story I'm currently working on is actually a Charmed story centered around Piper and Leo's youngest son, Chris, and an original character named Belle. Chris is from the future, but despite the odds and obstacles against them, they fall in love.

Tim: I don't suppose you'd mind telling us what you have in the bag?

*Tony grabs the bag and begins rifling through it, pulling out items as he goes and looking to Sinara for explanations.*

Katie: Just the usual. Universal remote to turn off the lights of the award show to put my plan into action. Deodorant. A hair brush. A fold-up car for a quick getaway. A concealed stun gun. My safe-cracking 101 cheat sheet. My accomplice who shall remain nameless. Oh... umm... be careful with that... it's not what it looks like.... I mean, it's... just a... LEO! Orb me out of here! Now!

*Katie disappears*

Tim, Tony, and Ziva:...

Tim: Did she just...?

Tony: I don't think she's GottaBeMimi

Ziva: Well, she did admit to writing outside the Backstreet Fandom

Tim: True, but the stories just don't seem like her.

Tony: Besides, then we'd have to admit that we had her and she got away.

Ziva, Tim, Tony: ...

Ziva: Let us never speak of this again.

All 3: Agreed.

And Now for Something Completely Different

There we go!  I think Ground Zero should have won for Best Cliffhanger last year, so it's awesome to see it win this year!  Very deserving!  And you know how much I love Hawk and a Handsaw!  Congrats, Ash and Julilly!!!
