Felix Award for Best Sci-Fi (11)
« on: August 01, 2009, 04:22:13 PM »

*To assist the investigators, Sam and Dean head into the auditorium and pull Rose from her seat for an interview*

Sam: Hi, Rose.

Rose: Hi...

Sam: How're you today?

Rose: Um...fine...?

Sam: Who's that guy that you were sitting with? He looks really familiar. Actually he looks an awful lot like Nick Carter--

Dean: I knew it!

Sam: What?!

Dean: I knew you were a closet Backstreet Boys fan! How else would you know their names?

Sam: How is it that you know their names?

Dean: ...

Sam: So, Rose, just who is your date tonight?

Rose: My date? Oh he's just my Nick clone. It took me forever to get it right. Well, looks wise anyway. I think I still need to work on his needs, cause he keeps trying to eat people, and he's not even undead. Then again, cannibalism is wicked cool in a gross way, so I may leave him as is.

Sam: I think that's way more than we needed to know...

Rose *shrugs and smiles nonchalantly, until she realizes that Dean has moved behind her somewhere. She turns around and--*

Rose: Hey!

Dean: What? I wasn't snooping through your bag.

Rose: ...

Dean: Yet.

Rose: ...

Dean: Well, okay, so I was, but I have absolutely no idea what this thing is.

Rose: It's your standard Cone of Silence! This way, if, say...I don't like the results *laughs* I can use that to express myself freely. Plus ya know, it's just cool in a techy random sort of way.

Sam: That is cool...where can I get one of those?

*Onstage*

Shawn: The Felix for Best Sci-Fi Fic goes to:

With runner up:

Lenni:  I'd like to thank everyone who voted for me or least took the time to read, and hopefully review my stories. It's mean quite a bit to me, & I promise to try and write some more for the ones currently on hold temporarily. I'd also like to thank everyone for sticking around and putting up with my evil writer's block, and fifty zillion stories I keep starting & never finishing. I swear, once inspiration hits, I'll be updating my fics again. Well, you'll be seeing No Matter What all the time, but that's because it's co-written & we bounce ideas off one another. So again, thank-you all! I greatly appreciate it.

Shawn: Thanks, Lenni. And the Felix for Best Cliffhanger goes to...

Congrats Marina!

Um...also, A Forgotten Nightmare was co-written with Daydream. I think whoever nominated the fic forgot to mention it & I never caught it until now.
