Welcome to Beta Central!

mare:
Since many of you have been looking for beta readers and we have been cracking down on the rules, I thought i'd start a new board.

Use this board to ask for help with your stories. If you want someone to beta your work or if you are interested in being a beta reader, you should start a thread asking for help.

You could also just post what needs to be beta read by making a thread (wow, that rhymed!) and then maybe someone who has time, can fix it for you. That way no one is commiting to being a beta but will still help if they can!

Do not use this board as a means to get someone to read your story though lol only if you legitimately need help and if someone does give you the help and it's not something you are happy with (in terms of people being brutally honest with you) then it's best not to post.

Enjoy and post away! :)

Mare,  you are a poet...did you know-it?  ha!

OK...I need a beta for Casual.  Preferably someone who has read it and likes the nuerotic characters and has an understanding of what is going on.  I like interaction, so things like talking on IM, etc. is better for me than just emailing my completed chapter to someone.  I need someone to motivate me to write.  I also prefer a writer as a beta who has an understanding of writer-ish things.  I will also reciprocate the beta services.

A-RokzStalker:
I would love to help beta read a story, but like Mare was mentioning, I can't commit. But if I have time, then I'll try to help someone out. :)

cabybakes:
I'm hoping finding a new beta will force me to find time, which will make me write because I am accountable to someone.  Wishful thinking, eh?

How are you wanting them to do this? Constantly emailing/im/twitter you?
