Nick's driver's license

Does anybody happen to know how old Nick was when he got his license? Was he 16? I've been searching on google but haven't come up with an answer. It is almost 1am and I'm a bit out of it at the moment.

I would probably say it was 16, because that is the age in the US to get our license.

18. I remember him bitching in an interview once that he didn't go til he was 18 because he was on tour.
