I think a big part of him leaving in the first place was probably so he'd have a chance to start a family and focus on that for a few years.  Brian was lucky enough to get to do that with Baylee, who was born during the long hiatus, but Kevin wouldn't have been able to spend that time at home with Mason because they did Unbreakable, then toured, then did This Is Us, then toured, then went right into NKOTBSB... they haven't really taken a long break in years.  So maybe now that Mason is going to be five, Kevin feels more comfortable coming back... or maybe he just missed it and changed his mind!  Who knows.  I'm just glad there didn't seem to be any animosity and they kept that open door policy for him to come back.  I hope he's back for good!

I agree with this plus the fact that Kristin can't join the tour as much as she wanted to because of her carreer. It seems like one of them has to give up a carreer to be able to enjoy them being a family, and Kevin decided to give up being a Backstreet Boy to be a father and pursue carreer in acting. Well, that was just my opinion and wasn't proven.

Me too lol it's weird because I really haven't cared about BSB in a long time. Even watching the concert, I didn't get overly excited until they made that announcement. I hope this brings back my love of these guys.

I can't wait for pics and interviews!  The promo for this next album is gonna be so epic!  And this means Kevin will be on the next cruise... for the whole cruise!!  He'll be at the VIPs!  We can meet him for real!!  So excited!!

To me, this just feels like, after six years, a wrong in the world has been righted.  Like they tweeted... back to normal!!
