--- Quote from: mare on April 14, 2012, 10:10:23 AM ---Guys I just added two more rules to the first post thanks to a great question from carterkid concerning length of stories.

The stories you submit should have at least 10 chapters with a minimum of 1,000 words per chapter otherwise it won't be much of a challenge for the person who is reading your work.

Also, please check your stories before you submit them. Your reader shouldn't have to act as your proofreader. lol

Glad to see so many of you on board already! :)

--- End quote ---

All mine fit that, I do have a prologue on one story that is less than 1000 words ... lol but it's a prologue not a chapter ;P

carterkid:
Uncle daddy is the only story I have that is going to be more then 10 chapters. Maybe I can't sumit?? I'll still be a reader. :P

mare:
If its more than 10 chapters you can submit it. You don't have to submit three, that's just so people have more variety. If the person who gets you doesn't mind short stories they can read one of the others you have picked.

carterkid:
Oh Okay  ;)

Did you participate in the challenge last year? No

If yes, what did you read? (story and author)

Which story of yours was read and who read it?

What are your favorite genres to read? I'm pretty much open to anything as long as it holds my interest.

Is there anything that you would feel uncomfortable reading?  Slash kind of but  the whole point is to step out of your comfort zone right?  :)

Give us three of your stories you would be willing to submit to this challenge, complete with links

All of the questions below are about what you like to read to give me an idea how to pair some of you up

Does chapter length matter to you? If yes, what is your preference? Long or short? I prefer short but I'm willing to go  either way for the sake of the challenge.

Would you be willing to read a story that is not complete? Sure!

Does story length matter to you? If so, what do you prefer? (1 - 25 chapters = short, 1 - 50 chapters = middle, 1- 100 chapters = long, over 100 = epically long)  Short to Middle

Who are some of the authors you read regularly?  Tiggerc128, Colorguard, Kevmylove

What are some stories you have read in the past year? Ella Rose,  Twitter, Bound By Honor, Everyday I Love You, Passion

Do you regularly respond to feedback or give feedback? Generally yes  but  I've been known to slack.

Do you have an author in mind who you would like to try out your stuff? Just somebody that never has.

Comments or questions?  I'm exicted to get started. Let's do it!
