I haven't seen one like that in a LONG time.  Sometimes I tend to obscure facts because I feel that I do not have the ease that some of you have when integrating the BSB facts with the fiction. LOL

Sakabelle:
Thanks Julie, glad you think so :)

I definitely think it's true what you said about those stories filling in the gaps. They're almost the bridge between fan fic and real life and to me that's what makes them so appealing. The boys themselves are the reason I like BSB fanfic in the first place, so I think it makes sense that stories that are very much set around them and things that actually happened to them would be appealing.

Plus, there's already so much real life drama that happened to those boys, that it's hard to not utilize it! LOL.

Oh, thanks Rose as well for the mention of my story LOL you guys reply on here so fast I had to come back and edit!

You worded that perfectly, it's neat trying to use fiction as a behind the scenes sort of deal. As for what I bolded, truest statement in the thread lmao.

Yeah Rose is right, that's why I asked for clarification because I haven't read any that read like a biography - they're always entertaining for the reasons I already mentioned :)

RokofAges75:
Yeah, that's why I will always prefer "canon" BSB stories to AU.  AU allows you to make up more, although I still do plenty of research in my AUs too, just not as much about the Boys and the group obviously.  There's still plenty of creative license to be taken in canon stories, too; I just don't think there's such a thing as "overdoing it" when it comes to researching and including real details.  Like Lore and I said, you don't want to make it sound like a biography or an encyclopedia, but I don't think I've ever read a story that did sound that way.
