Yeah I did with the one girl cause I would update, shed ask me if I updated, I would ask what she thought and all she would say is "update again" lol um I have a life, I am not a trained monkey waiting for you to tell me to write. She started getting pushy so I stopped telling her.

I also agree with all of you about the reviews. At the begining it used to be a big deal to me...almost like a competition, but now I'm ok with what I get. Although, it would be nice to know who is reading and if they are liking it.

Is it me or are there less readers and reviewers lately? I've even noticed that on the authors I look up to.  :shrug:

I've noticed that as well. When I first started writing my new story, I had a bunch of people, now there's only one lol. A lot of people are back to school or away so I can understand that. The story isn't going anywhere and they can catch up at any time.

Your new one looks interesting, Erika. I've been meaning to check it out :)

If you mean decline as of recently, the time of year has a lot to do with that but if you mean decline as in general over the years then yes, I noticed that too. I think the fandom has lost a lot of people over the years. I've been reading my older stuff and when I look at the reviews, a lot of those people aren't around anymore. It's sad but I think that's just the way it goes. There's a new batch of readers but I think there are a lot more who just don't bother to review as we just talked about. Because I'll always have random people pop in and say oh I love that story when are you going to update? And I didn't even know they read. lol
