As for a fanfic related question...

Has there ever been a story where you've read it and went "Damn, wish I'd thought of that one."?

I haven't really felt that way about fanfics. I have about a few books like the Book Theif & I wish I had come up with Once Upon a Time!

Totally going there to pick up some of that deliciousness.

RokofAges75:
I've definitely felt that way about fanfics before... both "I wish I had thought of that!" and "I wish I could write that way!"'

And I wish I had come up with Once Upon a Time too, Mare!  It's such a creative concept and, yet, not that out there - it's like a fractured fairy tale.  Why couldn't I have come up with that?? LOL

mare:
I just kind of stole this from Steph's thread lol

What character of yours do you most identify with? It can be from any story you've written. And why were they so personal to you?

Sakabelle:
I definitely identify with Camille from Left and Leaving the most, and that's basically because she's me. As I've stated before I largely based that story off of my own life, with Nick being the uncaring boyfriend who just moved away for work without a second thought, and then having his best friend like her and pull some pretty dick moves... yeah. I really identified with her, lol obviously. But I do think it was a good thing because I think when I put myself and my personal experiences into my stories they turn out a lot better. I guess it's because of the attachment and the raw emotion that I get from having dealt with what my characters are dealing with.
