Thank you for your reply. I never saw that movie so I'll probably go and see if I can find it because now I'm really interested.
It showed how much you've planned the story and that's one of the strongest point of the story. So, really, congratulation for the awesome job.  :)

RokofAges75:
It's not really as good a movie as it sounds, but it's worth watching once.  Thanks you again! :)

Alexsgirl_ritz:
Finally, I'm done with my first story.

Name of story: Four Santas Too Many

1) What was the biggest challenge for you when reading this story? Nothing. Maybe finding time to read, I'm lucky I have internet access during lunchbreaks. :)

2) Did you find yourself looking forward to reading as you were going along or did it feel like homework? Looking forward as I enjoy the story so much.

3) What was your favorite scene/chapter in the story? I have favorite scenes in almost every chapter but I'd go for the ending. Baylee having fun playing with his uncles on a christmas morning. That's really sweet.

4) Was your favorite character at the halfway point still your favorite at the end? Yes. Nicky is consistently funny from beginning to end.

5) Who was your least favorite character and why? Leighanne is the only character who is not part of the Backstreet Boys, but even she plays an interesting character so I like them all. Ooops I forgot Baylee. :p

6) If there was a sequel to this story would you be interested in reading it? Yes! I am actually hoping there would be one.

7) Were you happy with the ending? Yes. I love the ending.

8) Name the biggest surprise in the story and did you see it coming? (If there was one) There's no big surprise but still every chapter makes you want to click the next button.

9) What was this stories biggest strength? The guys interaction. I love how a simple joke can turn the conversation into a serious one. The way the guys tease each other is so funny.

10) What was it's biggest weakness? None. It was written very well.

11) Did reading this story make you want to try another one from this author? Definitely. I love Mare more now. :)

12) Give us one final review that sums up your experience reading this, maybe explain why you gave the kind of feedback you did or if you would have perhaps picked a different story from this one? I really enjoy reading this one. It is worth half of my lunch break period. This is the kind of story I will read even when I'm not on a reading challenge. I am not the kind of reviewer that could provide feedbacks about writing in general as I am still a newbie on this field. But I am letting the author know that I really enjoy reading her story.

13) Did you prefer the way we did the challenge this year or did you like the pairings better? The reading challenge this year is better.

14) Did the author respond to your feedback? Yes. And I really appreciate that.

15) Any final thoughts or questions for the author?
Have you considered writing a sequel? Maybe still set in early 2000 and the gusy will surprise Nick? or maybe they'll play Santa for Ava. lol

mare:
Thanks so much, Ritz! I'm relieved you liked this one. I admit, I was worried to include this story for the challenge because out of all my stuff it's very different and just stupid & silly. Don't get me wrong, I've written a TON of stupid, silly one shots but never a full novel.

Now to answer your question, it's funny because everyone wanted me to write a sequel about the guys surprising Nick with a 'real' Christmas because I guess it did kind of seem like I set it up that way, but honestly, I've never had plans to write one and I most likely never will. I'm not sure how I would be able to do this story again, like with Ava for example, without it seeming like the same exact thing. I guess the possibility for a Nick one shot might exist, maybe for his next birthday story he can 'reminisce' about the time the guys gave him a proper Christmas or something lol

mare:
Readers survey (To be completed once the person reading your story is finished)

Story: Four Santas too Many!

Person reading it: Ritz

1) When you found out this person was reading your story what were your initial thoughts?
I hoped she would like it. Knowing she had kids, I was also hoping that she would be able to relate.

2) Did your reader leave you an adequate amount of feedback and was it helpful to you?
She was excellent with feedback and it was very helpful. I loved reading her reactions to the things going on and happy to know she thought it was funny. lol

3) Did you find yourself going back to read your story as a result of the feedback?
No, but I might go back and read this one.

4) Do you have any questions for the person reading your story?
Nope, I think she pretty much covered everything in her reviews. Thanks again, Ritz!

5) Overall did you find the experience a good one or a bad one?
Very nice experience. :)
