A few from me:
.) My first (and only!) piece of published fiction was a short story in an educator's magazine when I was in second grade.
.) The only degree I have beyond a high school diploma is a doctorate. Most pharmacy schools don't require a bachelor's before admission as long as you have so many hours and all the required pre-pharmacy curriculum. So, if the pharmacist's market drops out from under me, I've got nothing to fall back on.
.) My older brother is also a pharmacist and graduated three years ahead of me from the same school, though I decided that was what I wanted to do way before he did.
.) My childhood best friend and I still keep in touch. She and I have the same first name and the same initials. It was very confusing back in school.
.) I hate cooked carrots. I like raw ones just fine.
.) I used to be in a show choir in high school, but they lost their funding from the board of education years before Glee came out and show choirs became trendy
.) The mother of my best friend from pharmacy school taught Kevin Richardson in high school.
.) My dad coached high school girls basketball for 16 years. I always sucked at basketball.
.) I met my husband when I was 15 and he was 22. We started dating when I was 17 and he was 24. It was scandalous
.) On the way to my first Backstreet Boys concert back in 1999, we hit a deer and totaled our car. Still made it to the concert, though.
