Things we don't know about you

There's this one place I know of called Healesville Sanctuary in Victoria where I live where you can swim with them and feed them. It's quite pricey but definitely something I want to do. Are there no platypuses in any of the zoos in your country? That seems a little odd. But other than the wildlife and nature, you're not missing much lol

Speaking of animals, did anyone hear about the giraffe that they killed to feed a lion at Copenhagen zoo? It was only 18 months old  :(

Steph (carter-orange) made me an It Stays with You Nick doll that had MINE tattooed on it's arm and I know Julie (RokofAges) made one for Steph for her fic "Save a Prayer" Where Jordan had botflies in his head.

There was also the epic Nick "Broken" doll too! LOL

Here is Broken Nick (which was made for me) with Justin, a.k.a. "Drums" doll from 00Carter, which I made for  Rose.  http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q289/joolligan/Funny/drumsbrokennickdolls.jpg

And here is Broken Nick picking bot flies out of Bot Fly Jordan's brain.  http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q289/joolligan/Funny/Bot%20Fly%20Jordan/botflyjordanbox3.jpg

So cool!  No, apparently they're not allowed outside of Australia!  I thought that was odd too.  The zoo near me just opened a new Australia exhibit; I was thinking a platypus would be the perfect addition, but no... apparently not.

I did see that - so awful!  I don't understand why they would do that when other zoos were even offering to take the giraffe.  The article I read said it was done to prevent inbreeding, because apparently sterilizing them causes damages to the internal organs...?  So they just decided it would be better off dead?  I don't get it. :(
