I miss being social with my BSB friends. Even though I'm not really writing anymore, it would still be nice to keep the discussion going. Is anyone reading anything good or writing anything they want to talk about? I know people tend to get busy but it's been beyond dead for too long.

I'm around! Well, I'm around at the moment anyways. LOL

Things are crazy busy with Christmas coming up, but I've actually had a few minutes to sit down and start on another story. I think the fact that AJ has been all over the Toronto media this week has given me some inspiration as he keeps mentioning that the boys are going back in the studio in January.  ;D

I'm hesitant to post the first chapter of what I've written though because I don't want to post and then take FOREVER to update. I feel as though that's being mean to people who are reading.

I agree that this place needs some action though! I'm really in the mood to get back into writing more consistently, but I need some activity around here to keep my spirits up. :)

Glad to hear you're writing again! I don't think anyone even bothers to check this forum anymore. Hopefully during the Thanksgiving break, this place will come to life? lol

Thanks for starting this thread!  I admit I haven't been on the forum in the past week or so to see it.  I've had a cold/flu that turned into a sinus infection and am finally feeling better, but for the last two weeks, all I've done is come home from work and lie on the couch in front of the TV.  I finally found myself with a rare weekend of no obligations, no homework or schoolwork, and no reason to go out because it snowed today, so here I am!

I really haven't been too involved in fanfic lately, obviously.  I started re-reading Between the Lines on my way to Orlando in October because I was in a baseball state of mind, but other than that, I haven't been reading any fanfic or writing any either.  I have felt a slight urge to write a couple of times lately, which is a good sign, but I haven't yet worked up the energy to act on it, which is not.  Lately I just feel like as soon as I would get back into my groove, I'd get too busy again to keep it going, so what's the point?  I agree with what Erika said - it seems mean to start updating, then stop and disappear again, so that's why I haven't been posting the few chapters of Sick as My Secrets I still have hoarded from this past summer.  I want to wait until I'm writing with some consistency to start updating again.

I'm glad some of you are still writing though!  And even if you're not, it's always fun to chat here about fanfic or the Boys or whatever.  It helps to make me feel like I'm still in the loop even if I'm not actually reading and writing much.
