Why is Nick so picky when we write?

I don't think Nick's being picky, since I went with his reckless plan, but he is cracking me up so much this chapter and I only just started it. I think it's just the casual way he's saying things that are technically true with this huge sh*t-eating grin on his face. I'm dying.
I haven't actually had trouble with him at all lately. Kevin for sure, Howie a little, and sometimes AJ, but Nick and Brian are relatively easy peasy. I guess except for when I tried to force Nick out of his story for a little while, not sure if that was him being picky though or him just quietly waiting to come back.
Hope everyone else's Backstreet Boys are cooperating! lol

I'm glad Nick has been cooperating for you lately - and cracking you up! My Boys have been good; I only wrote Kevin and AJ in my last chapter, and they had an important conversation that went well. Nick is up next, so we'll see... I hope he gives me an easier time than in his last chapter, when he was just incredibly boring LOL.

Glad Kevin and AJ's important conversation went well! Wasn't Nick's last chapter the concert chapter? Are you conflating your feelings about concert chapters with your feelings about Nick doing his job being mundane at best and not at all angsty? lol

Yes, the concert chapter was the last chapter. And yes... I don't like concert chapters anyway, and then the fact that Nick's part is not particularly angsty makes it worse. I can handle a concert chapter where something tragic happens, but just Nick going about his job normally? Boring... for a fanfic, anyway.
