Title: The January Challenge
Post by: mare on January 01, 2009, 01:55:48 PM: They say it's your birthday...duh duh duh duh duh duh duh duh well, it's my birthday too yeah!

This is the AJ and Nick birthday challenge.

Your goal is to write a birthday related story about one or both of the boys.

~ It can be in anyone's POV
~ It has to be in real time, meaning the age they are turning this year, but you can have as many flashbacks to past birthdays as you'd like.
~ The genre doesn't matter but try to implement two different ones i.e sci-fi, comedy etc..
~ No word limit again but try not to go over 5,000 because...good lord lol
~ NO BANNERS!

Have fun and don't forget to post the links in this thread after you post your story on AC.

She quoted the Beatles song Birthday at the beginning of the post, that's why it was stuck in my head... not because she mentioned birthdays lol

yes Nick is going to be 29 and AJ is 31. They are two years apart.

Only thing is, I've just picked some random location for it to take place and have no idea whether this place is nice or not. So you'll just have to imagine it is, lol.

But of course!! :D LOL. I missed gallivanting around making my reputation known, lol. But um... I tried to stay under 5,000 words, well... I'm at 4,077 words, but I still got more to write. :( Oh wello, lol.

Well, I got bored, and I was in the strangest mood ever, so I answered the challenge. The two different genres I picked were sci-fi and song fic! How's that for two you don't see together everyday?

Plus, I did it to kind of kill two birds with one stone and answered Chaos's inappropriate song fic challenge as well. Woot for multi-tasking!
