LOL, no one's gonna hate ya hun, that's your opinion! ;) Me personally, I'm just baffled with the fans that have animosity towards the posibility and resentment towards it. I myself don't understand it. But I'm hoping that he does!! Me misses big brother Kev!!! ;D

I would be extremely happy if he rejoined the group. Though I love the four and I love that they continued after Kevin said he wanted a break, I really miss Kevin and his voice.
I won't believe it until it happens. I don't want to give my hopes up that he is returning for every part of being a boy. I can see him recording a few songs and that's it, but I'll take that if it happens. :)

I love them as 4 or 5, but how amazing would it be to have the five of them back? Even if it's just for one album. I know that with Take That, they were a 4 piece following the departure of Robbie Williams. He came back for one album and tour on their 20th anniversary and has now left again. Maybe Kev is thinking along those lines too.

I agree about all five of them. Since they've been four, I haven't much enjoyed their albums and barely watch interviews anymore. :( like I said, i'm not getting my hopes up. This wouldnt be the first time this was 'hinted' at but never happened. *kicks Kevin while I still can*

Honestly, I am already comfortable with them being four but I love Kevin too! I hated him for a while when he left the group but I came to understand him. Now, if it's true that he's going to go back to the group, I'm all for it to keep Mare, Steph and other Kevin's girls happy, but he cannot leave the group again anytime he wanted to and after an album or two he'll come back again. He better be doing this for a permanent basis. ;D

So the whole Kevin thing this weekend was kind of wack. Wiggity wack, not just the regular kind.
AJ kept asking us if we wanted Kevin to come back on the next album. He asked OVER and OVER. So we figured that they would be making an announcement that he was coming back for the new album but he never did. Nick also eluded to Kevin's return at the beach party but again no announcement ever came.
Kevin never confirmed that he was coming back and we heard that there were a bunch of people pretending that they were on the cruise making up outlandish stories about things that allegedly happened but never actually did.
It was cool that Kevin was there, he was super nice and everything but I really didn't get the impression that he was launching a return to the group. They continued to refer to the Backstreet Boys as a quartet throughout the cruise so I don't know what is going to happen come January when they get back into the studio.

Nothing was confirmed, so the people who were tweeting that it was were lying, BUT... it was heavily hinted at, to the point where I don't think people who think he's coming back are just wishful thinking anymore. It seems like it's a real possibility, perhaps even a done deal that they're just waiting to announce for some reason. We really did think they were going to announce it at the beach party or prom on Saturday, and once they didn't, we thought maybe they just dropped enough hints to get us speculating and generating some buzz and hype before they do announce it at some later date.
I dunno, it may not be true, but if it's not happening, then what they did to us was really cruel, because they really played it up. They kept saying things like, "How do you like seeing five Backstreet Boys up here? Doesn't this look good? Would you want to see more of this?" Nick even used the word "foreshadowing" when they were together at the beach party. And they sang "I Still" at prom. Think of the lyrics. Why sing THAT song if it's not happening? Kevin also seemed to really be enjoying himself the whole day, and he interacted a lot with the fans. Think of how interactive he's been on Twitter and Facebook lately, too. Big change from the way it's been the last few years. I really think there's a strong possibility of it happening, and although I've gotten used to the guys as a quartet, I'll be disappointed now if it doesn't.

I know nothing has been confirmed and it would be awesome if he came back and just CRUEL the way they've been teasing us. Even if it's only for the 20 year ... it'd be better than playing with our emotions like this!!

They hinted at it a LOT. It was actually to the point where I got annoyed that they didn't announce it at Prom Night because of all the crazy hinting. It's at the point though where if people think Kevin will come back, it's not just crazy wishful thinking. There's reason to think it's coming. I'm all for it, that beach party brought back just how much I missed Kevin.
But people who said it was announced...th ey're lying lmao. Everything had a "maybe" or a "might" or something vague attached.

This is looking more and more like it's really happening! Kevin is in London with the Boys right now... supposedly recording and possibly doing the NKOTBSB show that's going to be filmed.

Yeah, but I think it's been in the works since then (or before then, actually). When they didn't announce it at the cruise, we speculated they might be waiting for either the anniversary or after NKOTBSB, thinking he would wait to officially rejoin them for the new album and not do the tour, since he wasn't around for the US leg. I don't wanna get my hopes up either, but if this isn't happening, they've been seriously teasing us for no reason... I don't think they'd do that. I think this is just another case of Backstreet time, as usual... dragging it out until there's not even a secret to keep anymore because we already know LOL.

LOL I know, but I think it's different this time. Not only has he been hanging out with them, but they've all been making it known that they're hanging out... which wasn't really the case for the five years before that. Kevin kinda just disappeared, for the most part, but he's been so much more active online and at BSB events ever since last summer. And they really did all but tell us he was coming back at the cruise, with as heavily as they hinted. If they meant it to be a secret until now, they suck at keeping secrets LOL. I don't think they'd tease us that much if there wasn't some hope of it really happening.

Yes Kevin has emerged more. He's been on facebook and tweeting and been around them a lot. And like it was said, when he first left it was gone, disappeared. We never heard much from him. I would love it if he came back, I can't imagine any of you would know that though, Lore wants Kevin back... lol ... *gasps* never. :)
I hope they just aren't toying with our emotions and that it's just for the anniversary and then he disappears again.

When they weren't doing that great anymore and the group wasn't going in the direction he wanted he jumped ship, tried and failed to jump start a career of his own, and now that the group is back in popular gaze suddenly he wants to come back? How convenient for him that he left when the going was tough and now that it's better he's right there ready to capitalize on it.

It's nice to see them as five, but I definitely agree with this. After they did Oprah he did this interview that really left a bad taste in my mouth about him. He didn't say anything bad about the boys themselves but I remember him talking as though he was done with BSB and really wanted to put it all behind him. I get wanting to start anew, but dude, BSB made you who you are.
Then there were rumblings of him coming on the cruise, and they talked and talked about him coming back for the next album. I guess it's a nice thing to do for the 20th anniversary, but if they think that this might help boost their popularity I'm not sure that it will. Especially when most of the world doesn't know Kevin left in the first place :P

I hope he's coming back too! But I wonder if he's going to do something like what Robbie did with Take That. He came back for the 20th Anniversary and did a CD and tour with them, then left again.

I really do think that if he does it would be for the 20th anniversary and then he'll go back to his own life. I do think it does seem like he couldn't get a different career so he's going back to the boys but I'm not going to complain if he comes back.
No Mare, I don't think he's really coming back either, at least not for good. I really do think it will only be for the anniversary next year.

Yeah, I kind of agree about Kevin jumping back on the bandwagon but at the same time, they all kind of did that once they decided to work with New Kids. The whole lets tour together because two is better than one group bandwagon. It's just what happens now and it's sickening, well in their case anyway lol
Whether he's just jumping on the bandwagon because his own stuff didn't amount to what he pictured in his head or he just missed it, i'll personally be happy with the decision. Like I said though, I just have a gut feeling it's not a real thing and they aren't bright enough to realize how it's toying wth people's emotions.
I just think they would be 'hinting' about a major announcement by now. They haven't said anything at all like that unless Kevin is being widshy washy in which case the guys need to step up and say "Dude, are you in or are you out? You have a day to let us know!" Because if I was them, i'd be a little annoyed. LOL And if he does come back they need to draw up a BSB prenup or something saying if he leaves again he gives up all his rights financially to the group etc... And if it is just for the 20th anniversary they better be honest with the fans and let us all know.

I hope that in time I'll warm up to this, right now I'm not feeling it and honestly it put a damper on the rest of the concert for me.
I'm happy you guys are excited though :) And hopefully this means an epic 2013 year for BSB! I'm hoping once I hear the new stuff I'll feel better about it.

I'm kind of excited he's coming back.....but now poor Howie is back to singing less. I mean, when Kevin left, he got all Kevin's part in the songs. Kevin's return means Howie's back to his little parts - not that Kevin ever really got to sing much either, but still.
I'm sort of half & half. Part of me is excited because I have missed Kevin.....& then part of me isn't so sure about this.....

See this is my dilemma. The 13 year old girl inside me is squealing with delight at Kevin's return.
The 27 (soon to be 28) year old on the outside feels bad for Howie....I mean once Kevin had left people noticed him a bit more, it seemed like he came out of his shell a bit. He also got to sing more. I just hope all the boys get equal singing time and Howie doesn't get pushed into the background again. I like Kevin, I just am so on the fence of him coming back now that I don't know whether to be excited or not.
But yay AJ on being a daddy!

I'm so excited Kevin is back, I danced around my living room! But I also hope Howie still gets plenty of parts to sing as I love his voice too. I'm sure they'll figure it out :)

I am not a big Kevin fan, I didn't even cry when he left. But I am happy that he's coming back because it would make the boys happy and you Kevin fans happy. And I really hope this would be a permanent thing.

I hope they'll continue to make the new music balanced between all five of them. They did a better job including Howie on Unbreakable and TIU, so it wasn't just Kevin's old parts Howie got to sing. Hopefully that trend will continue so that the solos will be split between all of them.

I just hope he STAYS back and doesn't pull some shit where it's only for the 20-year. I feel like they've all teased us with this so long that it would just annoy the crap out of me if he comes and goes. It's not a revolving door, you know? that's the only thing that has me worried about it. He's popped in and out over the last eight years, and it's kind of like make up your mind - in or out? But I'm glad he's back - I did miss him, and there was a really amazing dynamic when he came back for the Cruise. They sounded amazing when they harmonized again on board, it was incredible the energy that came back to Nick, too. But I can't help but worry he's gonna do the anniversary year and disappear again. Also, I'm worried too about Howie's singing parts like everyone else keeps saying and whether Nick will continue to grow in his creative control like he wants to. Nick's really grown since Kevin left, and I just hope Kevin remembers Nick's not 13 anymore...

What if this was all apart of a plan... Kevin drew the shortest straw and volunteered to leave. BOOM, publicity of his departure. He boys go on with the music, not long after he departed and insists the door is still open for him to come back. After the departure of an original member and still seeing no changes on the record company's half, BOOM, the boys put their foot down and leave Jive. So now they're left, living on the well publicized tour of NKOTBSB, preparing for a new album... their first album not under Jive. Their nearing their 20th year. They'll soon be done with the NKOTBSB tour and are talking about possibly doing or all again with TEN members. What perfect way to make news and have publicity surround you than to announce the departed member coming back and rejoining the group, six years later, for the sake of the music? BOOM, Backstreet's back, alright!

I think a big part of him leaving in the first place was probably so he'd have a chance to start a family and focus on that for a few years. Brian was lucky enough to get to do that with Baylee, who was born during the long hiatus, but Kevin wouldn't have been able to spend that time at home with Mason because they did Unbreakable, then toured, then did This Is Us, then toured, then went right into NKOTBSB... they haven't really taken a long break in years. So maybe now that Mason is going to be five, Kevin feels more comfortable coming back... or maybe he just missed it and changed his mind! Who knows. I'm just glad there didn't seem to be any animosity and they kept that open door policy for him to come back. I hope he's back for good!

I've heard them say he's back for good, so he'd better be this time around. Otherwise, my pointy sticks may be coming out after him & it won't be pretty. He cannot toy with our emotions anymore like that.
But I do hope he sings more & I hope Howie still gets to sing plenty. :)

Especially since he wasn't even part of the group for the full 20 years lol.

I agree with this plus the fact that Kristin can't join the tour as much as she wanted to because of her carreer. It seems like one of them has to give up a carreer to be able to enjoy them being a family, and Kevin decided to give up being a Backstreet Boy to be a father and pursue carreer in acting. Well, that was just my opinion and wasn't proven. ;D

I can't wait for pics and interviews! The promo for this next album is gonna be so epic! And this means Kevin will be on the next cruise... for the whole cruise!! He'll be at the VIPs! We can meet him for real!! So excited!!
To me, this just feels like, after six years, a wrong in the world has been righted. Like they tweeted... back to normal!!
