Okay this one isn't a picture challenge. Since the story of the month is a sequel, your challenge is to write a short story as a prequel or sequel to any of your stories you have out there now.
Perhaps a continuation or a whatever happend to...type story.
Whatever you like.
It can only be one chapter though but there is no word limit.
And it can also be for a short story you have written. It doesn't have to be from a longer novel.
I hope some of you do this, it'll be fun.
Also use this as a place to request certain authors to write on certain stories that they might not have thought about.
Like for me, Mersey if you write one I want to know what happened after Stay With Me ended.

What if you don't like any of your own stories enough to write a prequel or sequel? LOL I guess that's where the challenge part of it comes in. I'd do it for Broken/BMS, but I already have a "prequel" type thing going with Footprints, and I don't wanna write a sequel thing for BMS until it's done.

I don't know how you're supposed to call it. It's kinda the same story, told from a different point of view. But with a different starting and ending point. So yeah, not a sequel, not a prequel..

That's what my story Footprints is too, although it does start before where Broken starts, so it's kind of a prequel too. If I hadn't started it already, that's what I would have done for this challenge LOL. I think telling it from another POV is interesting, whether it fits with this challenge or not.

you could do a sequel to Broken but told fomr the POV of someone other than Clare or Nick? lol like in the small space of time between when Broken ends and BMS starts

Okay since I keep going back and forth between two different stories, I have decided i'm goign to write two this month! lol
So i'm going to do a prequel chapter for one and a sequel chapter for the other. Maybe it'll get me into the writing mode so I can finish my Why chapter sometime this century!

Ooh, I think I've got a good one that I just might finish by month's end - though I'm not sure, considering I didn't finish in time for the June and July challenges. It was one I'd had an idea for, but uncertain if I should actually write it. Maybe I will now.

*le sigh* I love these challenges... I NEED to write something ...ANYTHING! I'll have to force myself to work on this one... My problem is that I never set anything up for sequels or prequels because I personally hate the idea of them. Hmmm. I also don't really have a lot to choose from. Suggestions anyone who has read anything of mine?

Well I actually REALLY like this challenge and have ideas! Unfortunately none of my stories are at a position for a sequel yet as they are unfinished. And the one idea I have for a prequel for UMS actually wouldn't work until sumthin else is revealed that isn't for a few chapters. So, yea... that's my excuse for this month lol j.k

Yay I started this challenge tonight! (lets all hope I actually finish it-lol) It was the first time I've even opened Word in like forever. Sort of felt good. Though I don't know if I'm exactly following the rules here... It's the third story in my Baylee series and those are more like episodes, so I don't know if it counts. But it takes place right after the last one and builds off of it's plot line so I guess it is a sequel still right?

I'm a little late posting the notice, but I posted "Children of Destiny." It's a sequel to Blackmailed and A Second Chance. LMAO I just looked it up and it appears I started this challenge on August 11th... So last night I sat down to write the November challenge on the last day of November and ended up finishing this challenge story instead. *shrug* Now I'm going to write Novembers challenge today on this the first day of December. Its funny, I was always handing my assignments in late at school too... Probably why I was a C student at best.
