I'm going to start a spinoff series of the Coaster series called the Coaster Girls. So far I have four stories etched out but I have two more sizzling in the back of my mind. Here are the banners and a really rough sloppy synopsis for each:

My name's Shelby McLean and I'm sixteen years old. There's two important things you should know about me...
Number One: I've had people tell me I'm unique all my life, and I'm proud of it. I live my life like I like to paint - outside the lines.
Number Two: I met my soulmate when I was just five years old.
When you combine both, you get my story. I call it my Love Story.

Number One: My first single hit #1 on the Billboard charts on my fifteenth birthday.

Being famous isn't easy, but finding true love is even harder.

Number One: My father and brother are famous Christian artists. Needless to say, I've lived a pretty sheltered life.
Number Two: I break free whenever I can.
I love to walk on the wild side. I don't mind getting hurt. The biggest danger is getting caught.

I try to be everything to everyone. But sometimes I lose me in the process.

They all sound sooooo good! I can't wait for them all to start. But I gotta be honest, I'm most excited for Kayleigh's. She sounds like a firecracker. :)

No, I'm crazy because I start school in two weeks! but, I'm putting them in print to keep pushing me to write...even if it's not as much.

I also wanna say that I'm happy that I'm going to be reading about the Backstreet girls, I definitely feel as though their stories need to be told.
I'm also attracted to Ally's story to see how she deals with being deaf and not knowing Rochelle.
Kayleigh's attracts me because "the good girl gone bad" is always a good plotline. ;)
Brooklyn's will be good, I wanna read about how she deals with fame and the pressure of the media at such a young age. That's what I got from the summary. :)

Oh wow.. Brooke is gonna follow in her daddy's footsteps. I kinda figured that would be Noah since he seemed to really like the easel set..the artistic type I mean...but cool!! All these stories have me so giddy!! I can't wait to read them all!!! The banners are gorgeous too!!!!

Oh, you mean besides the girls? I'll probably do an age rundown...I try to make notes of birthdays and everything else before I start a story. Kev will be 52 in Shelby's story...eep! haha

LoL thanks Krystle. I'm going to start Shelby's story tonight...I think. Unless I keep going on Seven Days. Which two chapters in is really fun to write! ;D

I just wanted to say that I'm loving Shelby's spin-off and it makes me even more excited for the other stories! :D
I'm curious, how long is Shelby's spin-off going to be? Longer than 20 chapters? Or are these going to short and to the point? Not that I mind either way. :)

^ Sorry to come in and interupt, but Mykal-Ann your siggy is way too big. If you want to have an image in your siggy it must not be more than 300 pixels in size. For instance 150x150 would work (Avatar sized) For text you can't go over 500 characters.

I think I'm going to aim for no more than thirty five chapters. We'll see how it goes. I think I'm up to ten now and things are just getting started...lol. I can say for a fact that they won't reach the lengths of With the Band or Babies and the Band.

I had Brooke's planned...init ally her book was just going to be Book 6 in the Coaster Series. Everyone can blame Shelby's character for coming in and changing that idea. I had SO much fun writing her that I just couldn't leave her as that cute 'humor-relief' six-year old. Especially after I paired her up with little Mason. There was way too much backstory in my head. And then I was thinking about Kayleigh and she was going to play a big role in Brooke's story, but I didn't want her story to go untold. And then I had the whole 'deaf' plotline with Ally play out and....the whole thing snowballed, lol. I've also had a story in my head about Peyton for awhile and then I added in Stefania right at the end of BATB and ARGH!

I was thinking of Steph but I couldn't remember the other daughter you would write about. I forgot about Peyton! I love Love Story so far and can't wait to read more of these :)

I read maybe four chapter of Seven Days a while ago but realised I haven't finished Babies and the Band and 12 Steps yet so I'm going to finish those first. :D You know I'm busy reading BATB now. :) But I can't stop reading Love Story, I just can't pause that one. :D
And I am soooo curious to the stories of Brooke, Ally and Kayleigh! I don't think I can choose a story that I'd prefer to read first. I think all of them are going to be really interesting. :)

I stayed up really late after doing homework last night to write. So, you're going to get three chapters in total today. I just posted the second update about an hour or so ago. :D

Brooke is def. next. I kind of want to do her story and Kayleigh's simultaneously because they're best friends and the same age, so it kind of makes sense. Then I'm going to do Ally's. Then Peyton's. Then Stefie's.
I actually have the whole first story of American Honey in my head...just need to get it typed out. Of course, you'll read a LITTLE about Brooke before then. That's all I shall say for now.
Oh! And for anyone interested...I stepped out of 'The Coaster Series' world and I'm doing a side fic with Bri called Only in My Dreams. It's different. And I'm just about ready to get to the REALLY good part, so it's a good time to catch on. ::ends shameless plug here::

I'm reading a story of Purpura Lipstick as well, so I think reading four stories at the same time are more than enough. :D I'm not far from the last chapter of BATB though. ;D (But then it'll be replaced by 12 Steps and then I'm still reading four stories lol)

It's because Brian's ALWAYS the good boy. And the married forever boy. And the dad forever boy. It's hard to write a story with him. But I'm trying it anyhow!

I just wanted to let everyone know that chapter one of Brooke's story, American Honey, has been posted. I will be updating this on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday until Love Story is completed. Then you'll get daily AH updates and then Kayleigh's story will start the TTS schedule (until I complete Only in My Dreams)

I've updated the Coaster Girls banner to include Peyton's picture. I'm not doing a story on Stefania. I have a plan (uh-oh be scared) and it results in her not getting a story. I've also created a LiveJournal blog for the fanfics if anyone is interested. And, just for anyone that doesn't know - I AM updating daily...it's just not showing on the Most Recent page. :)

Okay, so I'm not going to update for a couple days (I'll be 'back' Saturday!). We're still having the 'updates not showing on the Most Recent page' problem. Before I disappear, I wanted to let you guys know I posted an update to American Honey, Only in My Dreams, and Murder at Backstreet Mansion (which at the moment if my current favorite!) ;D Toodles!

Hmmm...very interesting about Stefania. I must say that I saw a bit of foreshadowing about her in Fallen Angel but didn't know if I was making something out of nothing. Plus, didn't want to say anything to ruin any surprises.
