Title: July Challenge - Summertime Suspense
Post by: julilly on July 04, 2012, 09:50:36 AM
Hopefully you will all have enough time with the summer reading challenge to fit this in, too! :) Can't wait to read some of the entries.

Here's the deal:

Write a suspense short set around either...

- A solar eclipse
- A heat wave
- The Fourth of July

With the following requirements.. .

- Must include all Backstreet Boys (either all four or all five, whichever lineup you prefer)
- No romance
- Max 10,000 words or 5 chapters

Suspense doesn't have to be a thriller, it could be a comedy about a missing sandwich, it's up to you.

oooh this sounds fun.  I know I always say something about doing the challenges and not following through but maybe, maybe this time I will. :)

I'm working on one actually. Just deciding how long I want to make it. Thinking maybe 2 or 3 chapters. I have part of it written.

I just hope I'm not the only one to do a challenge this month again LOL

I started to write one but the style I was doing would have been more a mystery than a suspense... thin line difference but it really would have been more a mystery.  I really want to do this one but my brain isn't coming up with many story plots lately.
