So, one good thing came out of the dreaded AC crash of 2010 - my reviewers and I got to actually talk TOGETHER about my fic and other random stuff. So, since AC is officially back up, I'm opening up this thread. That way if I have any special fanfic news or random thoughts I can post. So anyone that's been reading my story or just wants to stop by and say hey, I welcome you!

Thanks Mare! Way too many sub-categories on the forum. What's the difference between Fic Talk and Shameless Plugs? ::confused::
Also, ignore the other thread that says 'evergreenwrite r83's updates' I had thought that one didn't take because the site crashed about fifteen minutes after I posted. Plus I like this title better!

Basically the BSB fic talk is for all bsb fics. When you want to discuss something you write in particular it's kind of a 'shameless plug' so we put it in here.
The other board is for general fics. Like a thread about what fics are your favorites or genres or something. Hope that makes sense?
I'll close the other one if you want me to but you should probably keep that one for when you post updates so this way you can let people know in one pop. LOL just let me know :)

Yay Lenni's here! With her pointy stick! The image people were talking about was the banner for the NEXT story, Babies and the Band. I thought I'd be starting it by now but Nick and Liv are taking their sweet time getting to the wedding! ::grumbles about own characters::

As I mentioned at DS, the picture of Brooke is more how she'll look by the end of BATB. I have an ADORABLE picture of her at the beginning of the story that I might try to somehow get posted too for extra visuals. :)

i was re-reading the series from the begining and right now i'm at the part in the first one where they are planning the masquerade video with fatima. it's written in there that she says she didn't do the dance to Everybody, but she actually did do the choreography for that dance. i have the all access video vhs and she's was their choreographer for that first album music video's. she did alaylm, aihtg and everybody.

I have the video too...looks like I'm going to have to watch it again. It's one of my favs when I'm feel old school. I double checked Chapter 11 and removed three words and voila! I'm accurate again :) Thanks for the heads up.

What's sad is I haven't seen the video in years and I still remember them in the dance studio in front of the mirror with her leading them in the dance. Doh! :)

for some reason i remember seeing aaron in the background on the floor near the back wall doing something lol. you see nick clearly doing the dance and little aaron in the back.

the reason i asked is cause this is something small. like i believe it's chapter 65 from with the band. brian gets stuck in the tube. it says baylee uses his sneakered feet to help push brian, but later when leigh is getting baylee so they can go it says that she is helping baylee stick on his shoes. i don't know why i noticed that lol. i normally don't notice some of these things. but then i have re-read this series over and over again to re-catch up lol.

Thanks! Baylee's feet were supposed to be "stocking" feet, as in "in socks." So I changed that. Easy fix. That's what happens sometimes when I proof and change one place and not another. It's gotten even worse in the last two books, lol.

I just thought I would mention that the third book in the Coaster series, Voodoo and Vows, will be finished tomorrow. I'll be doing three updates, rounding the book out to 50 chapters. I think I'm only two pages from the end. I LOVE finishing stories, especially because I LOVE starting new ones. :) My goal is to have the first chapter of book four up by Wednesday. ;D

I have been sneaking in a line here or there at work today. Hopefully when I combine it with what I wrote this morning it will all make sense and I can post another chapter...I'm going to try my hardest to keep up the two chapters a day. I only have two months until school starts again - eep! And I kinda do spend my life on here, but that's okay. :)

I don't know whether to take that smiley as a good or bad thing. I think this is probably the final rundown of the series:
With the Band - 70 chapters
Cruise Control - 35 chapters
Voodoo and Vows - 50 chapters
Babies and the Band - er, I'm guessing 50-75 chapters
Seven Days (tentative title) - my guess is 35 chapters
Love Is (tentative title) - er, I'm guessing 50-75 chapters
then there's the Kevin novella Nowhere to Go (35 ch. plus epilogue) and the one-shot Sweetest Day Sniffles. That's not to say that I won't stick another one shot in there someplace.
So there's my answer as honestly as I can answer it. And no, my lips are sealed on the synopsis(eses) of the last two stories. :)

So...I had a really productive today writing BATB. I think I'm actually four chapters ahead of my current post! Go meeee...go meeeeee :) Of course I always tend to write faster when I've got lots of drama going on ;D

BATB will be back shortly. I think I have another bout of carpal tunnel mixed with a pulled muscle. Of course it's my left hand which is also my pen-holding hand. I can't do much more than a few sentences in posts. So until then I just have to sit here with all the thoughts piled up in my head. grrrrrrrr :'(

Thanks...I'm typing in short segments because I can't stop cold turkey. Too many ideas back up that way especially because I'm getting back into the actual 'group' part of the story. :)

So, I'm absolutely loving Babies and the Band, but AJ's haunting me now because of it. So I started a little side companion novel called Twelve Steps. I think it's important to see the events from his perspective as well since there's some pretty important things coming up. :)
I feel like Stephenie Meyer calling it a companion novel (and since I don't think she's THAT great of writer, I don't know that that's a good thing, lol)...maybe I need another word...hmm...

I just had to put a little note up that I had a very productive writing day. One chapter of Babies and two chapters of 12 Steps. :) Thanks to everyone for bracing with me all day for the cliffhangers!

Well, it's done. 5 main stories, two spin-offs and a little one shot and challenge = The Coaster Series. DONE. How I spent my summer vacation you might say. LoL.
