Welcome to the Felix Awards!
An hour to go until the big show begins! All of the nominees are hopefully making their way onto the board. Let's get an idea of what everyone is doing (or wearing) tonight and get the party started!!

Well I'm wearing a pair of navy blue scrubs by Landeau. Complete with a pair of gray and orange New Balances. My hair is in an updo. I went kind of light with the makeup today.
PS-I'm going to try really hard to be here at 7 but not sure...I know I'll get to be here for some of it though :)

I'm wearing work clothes right now. For the ceremony I'll have on my Kentucky shirt thatI bought when I went to the Cincy TIU concert and some jeans. :) I'm heading out to a Christmas party at 9:30.

I have a good feeling Jen is going to take home the award for best new author. I am up for that award also so half of me wants to win and the other half is cheering for her. I think she deserves it!

I WAS going to wear my wedding dress...but darn those 80 pounds that I've lost (that's actually a SUPER YAY :D )...it no longer fits. But that DOES save me from having to explain to the man why I'm wearing my wedding dress for no apparent reason. HA!
So...I'm sporting some gorgeous black and white plaid, baggy pj pants and a green tank top...with a "sexy" updo (pony tail, LOL)...and natural (non existant) makeup. Worst dressed list, here I come! Oh yeah!

There are so many good stories nominated, I'll be happy for whoever wins!

Dude seriously, all I have in my house is chocolate and sweets. It's bad! I got way too much candy from students and friends and my secret santa at work, and I haven't been grocery shopping except to get ingredients for baking cookies, so basically I have candy, cookies, and Chex Mix to eat LOL. And I ordered pizza for dinner tonight. Bad, bad, bad!

Yeah, it was a lot of fun! It was freezing that day-- I still haven't gotten over my cold, although I bought a Ravenclaw scarf to warm me up a bit-- so the park wasn't that crowded. But it seemed like pretty much everyone visiting the park was in that one section. Haha. The ride inside Hogwarts was AWESOME. They did a great job! It'll be worth the wait, so when you go you'll have a great time!!
I totally bought a can of "U-No-Poo: the constipation sensation that's gripping the nation." Gotta love the Weasley twins... :)

My friend went this summer and said that there was like a 2 hour wait get into that section of the park, and then an average of 45 minute wait to get into each store... It may be good you didn't go this past summer! Haha. You'll have a much better time without the crazy crowds. Sounds like a great trip in the making! I did the same thing- a day at the HP park, and then 2 in Disney. Oh, make sure you try the Butterbeer-- I wish I could steal their recipe!

That's what I figured. I saw pictures of the 8 hour line just to get IN the park on the day it opened. No freaking way would I have wanted to put myself through that LOL. It will definitely be worth the wait!

I am wearing my comfy pajamas and trying not to cough up a lung. I have far too many sweets in this house as well but that's about all I have. That and food for Christmas Eve and Day.
