Title: I'm thankful for....the November challenge :o)

We are taking a nice drastic turn from our October challenge and having a nice, warm, fuzzy one.

Write a short story about one of the guys or a character from one of your stories and what they are most thankful for. The story should be written as a reflective one. It can be a journal entry, an interview or just some inner thoughts on what it is that the person you are writing about is most thankful for and why. Try to add a nice creative twist so it's not completely a snooze fest though lol You know what I mean.

~ No banners
~ Try to keep it under 3,000 words. You can be longer if you want but I can tell you my attention span for short stories is about 3,000 or less. lol (just being honest. I probably will not read something over that word amount unless it really keeps my attention)

That's about it!

Well, you know me Mare... I like to have them in bus crashes, or some dude trying to rob them of something, their lives being endangered or whatever... but to write a reflective piece of being thankful?!? Lol. I do like the fact that you mentioned doing a creative twist... hmm...

Post by: Purpura Lipstick on November 03, 2011, 09:53:24 AM: short stories in general are hard for me, let alone reflective. I did write one for a Christmas challenge one year, let's see if I can think of anything for this challenge. I tried for Oct. but nothing came from it.

I didn't say you coudn't have anyone tortured in any way. LOL

I really struggled with this one.... I was already halfway when I decided I really can't do this but then again I already had 600+ words. So I finished it, hoping it made sense. :)
