Title: For the august challenge (thinking ahead)
Post by: mare on July 01, 2008, 09:26:17 AM: For the non-picture challenge for August, some of you expressed an interest in an idea where you can challenge a certain writer to write out of their comfort zone and request a genre for them to write in. So, to give those people at least a full month to write on their challenges, i'm asking for any authors who would be interested in participating to post in this thread and let us know.

I start my first ever teaching job at the end of this month. I will stay in, but only if I don't get in trouble in case I'm too crazy busy to finish it in a timely manner... :)

I guess what we could do, is the second half of the month, we can open to people to request stories from authors and then this way we would have the entire month of August to work on them. Would that work for everyone?

I put a deadline up because I didn't want it to be the kind of thing where people suddenly decide to join at the last minute but then don't actually write on anything because they didn't have enough time. I figured if I set a deadline all the people who really wanted to participate would sign up by the deadline which was there for a long time. lol
