Okay, so I'm a total computer moron and I'm very confused. I read the banner thread, but I'm still confused. I believe there's now a minimum size? Is that true and what is it?
And also...how do you make banners LOL...I repeat, total computer idiot. I've started a story and after I have some written I'd like to post it and I want a banner to attract attention. (Also, if anyone wanted to help with the banner I wouldn't object LOL)

I'll help since I'm here. The banner maximum size is 600 pixels, so any combination of height and width that adds to 600, such as 200x400, 300x300, 100x500, etc.
As for someone to make a banner, most people here are against them, so I feel like you may be hardpressed to find someone to do it for you....

Banners are 300x300 mostly but in my opinion even that's a bit too big. They look much better when they are longer and thinner. Dee, summed it up pretty well for you. Actually the best size is 0 x 0, but if you feel you must have a banner, i'm sure someone on here will help you out. They all know the guidelines. You might want to read all the banner debates on the board to see if you really think a banner would help or not.

For the front page? You know... Maybe that is a good plan after all. I was lazy before, but I don't mind moving things. lol
Because I've been on a computer with like 600 x 800 dpi resolution the past few days and all picture are gigantic.

Oh, well really it would onl,y be Julilly, Chaos and I. And I think i'm the only one who hates the hell out of banners. Although Juliily and I do share a brain so perhaps that hatred is seeping through. lol
