Title: Felix Award for Best Original Fic (18)
Post by: Chaos on August 01, 2009, 04:00:35 PM: Sam: I have a weird feeling about this one, but I'm not sure what it is.

Dean: Sure you're not just hungry? 'Cause I sure could go for a sandwich about now.

*Sam scowls at him*

Dean (prepares a dazzling smile): Hey.

Julie (aka RokofAges75): Can I help you with something?

*Dean's grin widens, but before he can speak, Sam cuts him off*

Sam: We just need to ask you a few questions. How do you feel about your competition here tonight?

Julie: Intimidated? Humbled? Honored to be nominated alongside them? For real, there are some amazing authors and stories nominated this year. Some of my favorites are here tonight: Chaos, Mare, Starbeamz, Filiklepto... Julilly, with "Satin and Silk"... Honey, with "If We Were a Movie"... Jenna and Swenglish, with "Swollen Issues." I would be thrilled to see any of them win - they all deserve it!

Sam (to Dean): Doesn't seem like the type who'd be sabotaging the awards.

Dean (to Sam): Probably right but should probably be on the safe side and follow up...

Dean: So. Have you been working on any new projects lately?

Julie: Indeed I have. My newest project is "Song for the Undead," co-authored with Rose, a delightful blend of Backstreet Boys... and zombies! Check it out, or zombies might eat your BRAINS!

*Sam and Dean exchange worried glances*

*Onstage*
