Title: April picture challenge :O)
Post by: mare on March 30, 2007, 02:50:25 PM: Okay so i'm stealing this idea from Mersey and from the recent discussions we have had here on the forum concerning what we would read etc...

So here is the challenge picture

And here is the challenge

Write a short story (under 3,000 words) from one of the boys POV that you usually do not write in.

First person only (i.e. if all you do is write in Nick's POV no can do for this one!)

i noticed this while midway writing that fic...the angle of the picture taken seemed like the person behind the camera is by the side right? the boys were posing for someone else, for the real photographer i imagined. so i totally had this idea of what if the pic was taken by a stalker? or a fellow worker who snapped a pic and i dont know...sell it in ebay or something, lmao...then i thought ok, that'd be interesting to write, until i remember that im supposed to write this in a genre i wouldnt normally write in! lol. i think i need a niceness pill.

LOL I just knew everyone was having a hard time with the genre thing with this particular picture. We'll do the genre one when I find a better one to work with.

I know lot's of you write third person, that's why I made it first person. :D lol

thanks mers! Good luck writing yours! Kev's POV is always fun because of his analness, but it will be interesting with this specific picture. Can't wait to see what you come up with!

I am thoroughly enjoying all of them, which means that I'm spending more time reading your things and not that much time actually coming up with a story idea of my own for it. Not that I'm complaining.

You guys rock! (not that i'm plagiarizing Nick's MS bulletins or anything LOL)

actually i've wrote one on the pic... the problem is that its not in the POV of the guys, the POV came from the 3rd party so not sure if its already considered disqualified but i know i had it less than 3000 words [that is, if my pc did not lie to me on the word count, lol]
