A novella has generally fewer conflicts than novels, yet more complicated ones than short stories. The conflicts also have more time to develop than in short stories. On AC we define a novella as having less than 20 chapters.

The following nominees were up for the challenge. They took on breast cancer, friends reuniting, old west outlaws, kidnapping, and a mundane 9-5 world in 20 chapters or less.

The nominees for Best Novella (less than 20 chapters) are:

 A Million Little Things by Mare
 Journey of the Heart by ResaD
 Seven Days by evergreenwrite r83
 Story of My Life by Carter-Orange
 The C Word by Sapphire

Congratuations Mare! I can't think of a better person to share this award with :)

I'd like to take a moment to thank crazy Aaron.  Without him, this story woudn't exist.  Thanks for being demented.  Muah!

Thanks guys! I loved writing this story about the guys and their friendship with one another. I also have to thank Rose because she's the one who gave me the idea.

Again thanks to all of you that voted. THis story was an oldie and once again i'm kind of surprised it won something! You all rock!
