Title: The feedback thread!
Post by: mare on February 10, 2019, 03:03:56 AM
Hi all!

Since we’ve had to disable reviews on the site, I thought I’d start a feedback thread for those of you that are reading stories and want to post some feedback to the authors. It might also get some authors coming here to the forum to check it out.

Just post the name of the story, and what chapter you’re talking about, unless it’s about the entire story as a whole. It might also get new people to read your stuff.

Of course, you can also use the update threads to post feedback as well, but this gives everyone a glimpse of what they’re missing.

Good idea, thanks!  Should we try to keep it spoiler free or at least post spoiler alerts?

That’s a good idea. You can always use the spoiler box thingie.

When you post, you can put something in a spoiler box by putting the tags {spoiler}actual spoiler goes here{/spoiler} around what you want to hide in a black box...
like this.
... and the words will only appear when someone hovers over them.  Just replace the { } with brackets [ ].

You can also just highlight the text you want to hide and click the Spoiler button in the editing menu above where you type your post, but you have to hit Preview to see all of the buttons - they don't show up in the quick reply area at the bottom of the thread.  I hope that makes sense!
