It's time for the biggest moment in Absolute Chaos history!
The Felix Awards Forumcast! All of the winners in real time, hosted by your very own moderators: Mare and the other girl.
We hope to see you all on the board this Friday February 22nd, 2008 at 8:00PM EST decked out in your finest pajamas and party attire!
(For those of you who aren't sure what time that means for you... 5:00PM Pacific, 6:00PM Mountain, 7:00PM Central, 9:00PM Atlantic, and 02:00AM Nijntje time. If you don't know what time zone you're in your problems are bigger than I can help you with.)
We hope you all can turn out to make AC history!
Banners will be "handed" out when the winners are announced.
The role of the presenters will be played by the mods.

Ahh this is so exciting!! Friday is my moving afternoon so this will be a fun and relaxing way to end the hectic day! woot woot!

I'm glad it's this friday cause the next friday I'll be out of town, and the friday after that is my birthday party. (yes I'm old and still use my birthday as an excuse to have a party!) and the friday after that I'm prolly moving. So kudos to you on picking the right weekend! WooHoo!
and lol I told my hubby he gets to entertain the kids so that I could attend the Felix awards and he was totally like WTF are the Felix Awards? haha so I had to explain to him that they are like the Oscars of Fan Fic. or, you know, the SAG awards or the People's choice awards or the Razzi's I dunno... one of those.
Anyway, he told me he thinks we're all nuts and then told me he hopes I win one. lol isn't he cute?

I just gotta say you rock (you being the mods: Mare & Julilly) 'cause you picked a perfect date and time. Considering I have to work the overnight shift at work that night, I should have plenty of time to enjoy the awards show before I have to go to work. If you would have chosen a later date a couple of weeks down the road, I would have been on my way moving to Florida. So again, you guys rock and I can't wait to see who wins! ;D

Oh yeah, moving is a blast! I got all beat up in my moving process...spli nter in the finger, bruises on my shoulder, almost knocked myself out with my bed frame. It was absolutely fabulous!

Actually, it was while I was unmaking my bed to do laundry, but details... lol
Well, one side of my bed is against the wall, so you have to jump on top of the bed to make or unmake it. And one corner of my undersheet was being terribly deficult. So I yank on it really hard... And my fist flew back into my face. lmao

We used to go to ther roller rink all the time! And I was wrong before, I went like a year and a half ago. One of my friends really wanted to go, so I dragged my best friend all the way out to the middle of nowhere to find the only roller rink in this state aparantly, and then I wouldn't let go of him cause I didn't want to fall.

Yeah, I think ours was supposed to be about 40-45 minutes away, but becuase I didn't know where it was, and I am directionally challenged, it took us a bit longer. Felt like a year because I was being scolded the last half of the drive cause my friend said I should have let him drive. Oh well...

I have only ever rollerskated once in my life at a party in grade school and nearly took everyone out lol I am lucky I was walk without falling on my face. Yeah, not the most co-ordinated person on the planet here.

I love rollerblading, but last time I went, it was with eighty-some third graders, some of whom were little speed demons out on the rink and some of whom couldn't skate at all. It was rather treacherous trying to skate with little kids wiping out right and left in front of you LOL.

^ yup! this makes our fourth one this year. :) Of course this one is it. If we get anymore they start taking away other days from us or adding onto the school year. It's been awhile since we've used all our snow days.

Yeah I guess that would've helped lol. I'm in the middle of the desert. Most know it as Arizona, but in the summer some of us Arizonians call it hell...as in "It's hotter than hell". lol

That happened to one of my friends. lol Her district was on spring break and we got a huge snowstorm. So my distrcit got about a week and a half of spring break, while she was cooped up in her house and had to go back to school the next week. lol

I wore rented skates one time... when I was boarding with a family in the Netherlands... and it was the worst skating experience of my life lol I was quite happy to be back to my own skates when I got home!

lol I feel for ya. But, hey, Teri is in Arizona with you. She's in the Phoenix area somewhere, and I go there all the time. My parents are in Maricopa. I'm actually going for the 4th of july. (the best time to visit Arizona, I know)

I live in Glendale right next to ASU West like right on 51st AVE. So it's pretty centralized west valley ish lol Yay for rain though! I love it when it rains!!!

yeah, they went to Highland High. Kyle was actually pretty notorious there. He was the kid who stole the school's mascot and then he won the Mr. Highland High contest... But that would have been the year after you I think. Or did you go to the other high school?

LOL my mommy works in gilbert on val vista and pecos. I'd love to live in Awatukee the houses are AMAZING! But yeah it is kinda "all white" lol makes me laugh when I go over there to visit friends.

I actually went to Mesquite. Heh. My cousin went to Highland though but i'm not sure if he went the same year as him. His name is Ryan Fitzpatrick and was a quarterback on the football team. I'm not sure what year that was, he's a year or two older then I am.
