Don't forget for anyone that is interested in being challenged you have about one more week to put your name in the first thread. The part one thread also some of you that have been challenged need to post ti the stickied thread. I dn't know if some of you realize you even have challenges at this point.

Okay...here you go...

Your challenge is to write a twisted romance. The lead female MUST be one of the participating challenge writters (see the first page of this thread). She is AJ's long time girlfriend of 5 years, however she has been sleeping with Howie, behind AJ's back for 1 1/2 years. In reality, her heart belong to Nick, but he doesn't know.

rules:

-noone can die or be seriously injured
-all three men have to find out about everything she has been hiding
-someone had to start a verbal fight
-she MUST end up with one of the guys at the end

are you ready for the big clincher? The whole story MUST be told in the POV of her dog! Yes...this story MUST be told in the dog's POV. The dog is a cute french poodle names Sassy Girl and she goes everywhere with her master.

So I thought that, even though I'm not writing a challenge (as of yet), I'd get in the game and challenge one of my favorite writers...Juli e!

So here ya go:

I challenge you to write a story where the leads are Howie and AJ. Kevin and Nick can be in the story (though neither of them should have more dialogue than Howie), but Brian cannot in any way be in the story, not even as a passing reference. The story has to be of the supernatural genre and include at least 2 supernatural beings (ex: witches, werewolves, etc). There should be absolutely no romance involved, though there can be females in the story. The story cannot be a dream, but there must be at least one violently graphic scene involving Howie or AJ AND one of the supernatural beings. The rest...is up to you and your imagination :)

LOL thanks, Sarah!  To be perfectly honest, I know I'm gonna write Rose's challenge to me.  If, by the time I finish that, I'm thirsty for more and not too busy, yours sounds like it would be cool, but I'm not gonna make any promises.  I'm a little worried that by the time August hits, my inspiration is gonna fly out the window because of Bsb shows and school.

(P.S. Oddly enough, I actually have a short story that almost meets your qualifications .  I think Brian is probably in it... but other than that, I think it's got everything else:  Howie and AJ, at least two supernatural beings, no real romance although there is a female (she's one of the supernatural beings), and a somewhat graphic death scene that involves AJ/supernatural being.  And it's not a dream.  http://www.geocities.com/dreamers_sanctuary2/evil.html)

Well, that's perfectly understandable . I haven't had any inspiration all summer what with wedding-palooza, which has yet to end lol Maybe you could just skillfully edit Brian out lol

Aww... well, maybe this challenge thing will help get your inspiration going again.  LOL I'm not gonna edit Brian out and try to pass something I wrote 7 years ago as this challenge; that's not really the point.  I just realized it as I was trying to think of what I might write for yours.  It's a great challenge!
