The January Challenge

They say it's your birthday...duh duh duh duh duh duh duh duh well, it's my birthday too yeah!

This is the AJ and Nick birthday challenge.

Your goal is to write a birthday related story about one or both of the boys.

~ It can be in anyone's POV
~ It has to be in real time, meaning the age they are turning this year, but you can have as many flashbacks to past birthdays as you'd like.
~ The genre doesn't matter but try to implement two different ones i.e sci-fi, comedy etc..
~ No word limit again but try not to go over 5,000 because...good lord lol
~ NO BANNERS!

Have fun and don't forget to post the links in this thread after you post your story on AC.

ok, I deserve to be smacked, but Nick's 29 this year (I always remember cause he's just over a year older than me) but how old is AJ turning?  My brain is getting on the birthday story train right now and it's headed to Looneyville...

yes Nick is going to be 29 and AJ is 31. They are two years apart.

So... could I like, break my story into two chapters so it doesn't seem like it's more than 5,000 words? Lol.
