I just locked the voting and looks like the tourbus scenerio wins.

So here is your challenge:

Write a one chapter short story

The main plot should be about the boys tourbus breaking down.

Could be any genre and any style

All the boys should be in the story

No word count

No banners!

All stories should be complete by August 31!!

Have fun and good luck! :)

If i've forgotten anything, let me know!

Would one really long chapter that should have been broken up into separate chapters count?  ;D

Hmm I know I wouldn't so I better give this some thought and come up with another idea - using my original idea for a bonus of sorts.

I don't have an actual idea yet, but go for it, Karen, if that's what you need to do to make it work.  I don't mind reading long chapters!  I'll do it, if it needs to happen for mine.  I need an idea first, though.

Hrm, everytime I think of a tour bus breaking down scenario I get my already written story.  Time to take a shower ((see the pet peeves about brainstorming)) heh

LOL I have a bus crash story too, from ten years ago, but I'd only post it if I wanted to embarrass myself!

I think I got another idea for a short story idea, then do my second one as a bonus story. So glad I was able to think of something shorter.

I'm doing my challenge within Babies and the Band but because it starts at the last half of one chapter and picks up in another chapter I'm going to repost as a challenge 'one shot'  That way I'm not breaking the rules,  haha.   ;D

I present my submission to the challenge.  It's nice and short too! I call it One Long 'Trip.'

Enjoy!

wow, that was fast! Now, is this going to make sense for people who don't read your story? Or is it one of those things that make more sense if you know the characters?
