Yeah, I wasn't planning on sending in my nomination form until like... September 30th or close to it. LoL  I've been trying to take a look at some of the stories people suggested in the For Your Consideration thread as well as finish up a few stories I've been reading for awhile.

YOU ONLY HAVE FIVE DAYS LEFT TO NOMINATE YOUR FAVOURITES!!

Nominations close on September 30th, so if you haven't already sent in your nominations start thinking about getting them picked! Also, tell people you know on AC who may not frequent the forums that they still have time to nominate!

A lot of people are sending in nominations for one or two categories, but not others so there are some categories in danger of being cut! And some of them may surprise you...

Categories without enough nominations to continue as of Sept 25:

Best Comedy
Best Historical
Best Original
Best Novella

Best Hero
Best Villain
Best Male

BEST AUTHOR (seriously people... best author doesn't have enough noms)

Also be cautious in determining between Best Author and Best NEW Author. If the author has never won an award before they automatically go into the new author category, if they have won an award they go into best author.

So if you want to see these categories move on into the voting round make sure you nominate and get your friends to send in nominations!

what constitutes historical? does a story taking place in the beginning years count or does it have to be another era (i.e. Victorian)?

I'm really glad that I realized tonight that it was the last day of September, not tomorrow like I'd for some reason been thinking, and I was able to get my nominations in by the deadline!   Cheesy
