No, I have Comcast internet and use Chrome.  I doubt it's the service provider or browser, though, or it would be doing it to all our updates.  I've been able to update Song for the Undead and Guilty Roads just fine while other people were having issues.  The only difference between those and Curtain Call is the number of people who favorited them; CC has more than 20, and the others have less.

Well hopefully we'll find some answers with the favorites disabled. LOL I want someone to try to update and see if it shows up on the most recent page!

Yeah, I've thought the review thing too.

And I use Firefox. I think I remember reading people were having problems with IE. Maybe it's a mix of the browser and the site being compatible or something. *shrugs* Who knows.

I'll be updating in the next hour or so.  I will say that I just posted a brand new story about an hour ago and it had a fatal MySQL error...same as before.  So I'm going to put in a guess that this isn't going to solve the problem...

By disabling favorites does that also disable favorite author or just favorite stories?

Your new story did end up on the most recent page though. Unless you posted more than one new story?

I can see your new story Jen, it showed up okay.

I agree, it's gotta be something in the fave story/review thing. Undead shows up okay, and it has less than 20 people favoriting it, same with my other story Walked Out Of My Dreams, and that one shows up okay. It's only RMTW that doesn't wanna play nice lol.

Any new stories always appear the first time on the Most Recent page even after giving me an SQL error.  Also, Mare thought you might want to know that I just added a chapter of Heartbreaker and got a fatal SQL error.  So even with Favorites disabled it's happening. :(

Is it still emailing people about updates with favorites disabled?  If so, that could be why.  Julilly said it was too much of a demand on the server.

No idea if the email updates are still going out. Is it showing that you updated at all? Is the date you last updated correct? Or is it showing up as the last date you were on the most recent page?

I wonder how many people this is happening to that aren't even posting on the forum? lol

Since the problem has started I noticed on Jen's stories that the date wasn't updating.
