Ficlet Challenge
« on: October 22, 2010, 09:33:08 AM »

I recently came a crossed a website that had what the author called ficlets. She explained that a ficlet is a short fan fiction consisting of dialogue only. I thought this was awesome and challenging so I posted it here.

Rules: You must use 2 and only 2 of the five backstreet boys.

You must use the word "Monkey" at least once

You must have the two boys either fighting about something or over something

and

You may choose how long or short to make the fiction.

I think I know what you're talking about!  We used to do that as an exercise in creative writing class.  :)

I hope there wasn't a time limit on this challenge.  I'm just now seeing it.  There's a similar weekly contest on Writing.com, with a 500-word limit of dialogue only and it can include verbal and/or internal dialogue.  I'll definitely work on this one.  I need to get back into the writing habit.

Okay... it's short, it's random, I wrote it in a very short amount of time - probably half an hour or so - but here's my silly answer to the challenge.
