Enjoyed the new chapter!  I liked the contrast you showed in comparing Nick's homecoming/family situation to Brian's.  Despite how religious Brian's parents are, I still feel like they would be more accepting of him being gay than Nick's parents... if only he would accept it himself.  I totally picture Brian's family the same way Nick does, like the perfect Leave it to Beaver family.  I wonder if Nick will try to convince Mandy to take him back as a cover.  He should just stay single for awhile and wait it out, nothing wrong with that.

Go Brian!  I loved that last scene in the elevator!  Now if he could just admit to both Nick and Leighanne how he really feels...

Glad to see this updated, and congrats on being the featured story this month!

I'm still reading and enjoying, but not had chance to read anything for a couple of weeks until now.  So I'm going to carry on with it today :)

I'm up to Chapter 19 now and glad Brian finally saw sense and went to the doctor.

Oh man, I forgot how you left us hanging with that kiss in the elevated in the last chapter!  I was so proud of Brian for finally admitting his feelings to Nick, but then he had to go and bring up all that bullshit about Nick being a minor.  Damn it, Brian!  I guess technically it's true, but still.  I hope Nick makes a move the minute he turns 18!  Then Brian can't use that as an excuse.

So glad to see this updated again!  I hope you can keep writing!

Finally all caught up, but Brian is still so confused isn't he and he's confusing Nick with this hot and cold behaviour.  I wonder if it really is the underage thing that's putting him off, or is he ashamed and embarrassed to come out?  I suppose back then in the 90s it wasn't so easy for famous people to be open about who they loved.

Looking forward to more :)

^ That's a really good point about the 90s setting affecting how ashamed and afraid both Nick and Brian have been to reveal their true feelings.  Nowadays it's definitely more acceptable to come out, but back then, most of the pop stars who have since come out were still in the closet.  Tracy, that was really smart to set the story in this time period!  Plus, I love reading about young Frick and Frack.

Thanks so much for the feedback. I did that on purpose because like both of you said, it wasn't as acceptable in that time as it is now. This is why Brian's so conflicted. Nick is more comfortable with it on the other side of the spectrum but because Brian isn't as accepting he's certainly doubting himself as well. I am glad it sounds realistic because that's what I'm going for.. Thanks ladies!

I think Brian's religious upbringing would also make him more reluctant to come out, even to himself, whereas Nick doesn't seem as religious, so that would be less of a factor for him.  It's definitely believable.

Oooh, Chapter 24 was eventful!  I figured something would happen on Nick's birthday, and you did not disappoint.  That was so funny when Nick kept playing footsie with Brian, and Brian thought it was Leighanne.  Poor clueless Leighanne, LOL; I feel kind of bad for her.  I loved the scene in the bathroom!  I wonder what they'll tell Leighanne when they come back, LOL.
