1. "The Backstreet Baby Series" by Amanda: http://www.dreamers-sanctuary.com/dwlyn/bsbbaby.html
This is the only comedy on my list that isn't a spoof of something else.  It's just a trio of short stories about the Boys reacting to Baylee's arrival.  They're hilarious; I still crack up every time I read them.  Just the way she writes the guys and their interactions with each other is great.

2. "Brian Potter and the Malevolent Musician" by ForeverFrick: http://absolutechaos.net/viewstory.php?sid=9731
I have to include this one on the list because it's a fusion of my two biggest obsessions, Backstreet Boys and Harry Potter!!!  It's a cute, clever, Backstreet-ized spoof of the first Harry Potter book, definitely worth checking out if you're a HP fan!

3. "Rebels for the Cause" by Mathinus: http://www.dreamers-sanctuary.com/dwlyn/rebels.html
This is an old short story that spoofs fanfic and all its old cliches.  All I can say about it is that it's totally genius!

Hmmm my picks are

"Fear Of Flying" by Pengi- this story is about the guys in Peru and basically Nick REALLY does not like llamas. It is told in all the guys POV and very entertaining.

"Breaking Up Is Hard To Do" by Evergreenwrite r83 and Pengi- this one is about Nick trying to break up Leighanne and Brian. Hilarity ensues.

I can't think of any more so I will be back when I think of it :)

Mine are...

Brian Potter and the Malevolent Musician because I love Harry Potter and this story is fun.

Can't really think of any others at the moment.

Brian Potter and The Malevolent Musician is an awesome one too, so I am adding it to my list. I love HP.

I don't think I really have three picks but I would recommend anything by Marly, an oldie but a goodie!

I also LOVED Julie's MST stories back in the day. LOL Those were pretty awesome as well.

Oh wow, blast from the past! LOL  I just tried one of those and never finished it.  The problem with MSTing fanfic is, it's only really funny if the story itself is really funny/bad, but the only authors I could get to agree to let me MST their work were decent authors, so I had a hard time making it funny cause there really wasn't that much to poke fun at LOL.

Yeah, I can see how that wouldn't be very much fun. That would be another good idea for a challenge. Having people volunteer to have their work MST'd LOL

everyone submit what they think is their worst story or something.

MST = Mystery Science Theater.  There was that old show, Mystery Science Theater 3000, with the guy and the robot and alien who made fun of really bad old sci-fi B-movies.  The concept in fanfic is the same; you take a really bad fanfic and then write dialogue as the guys or whatever characters you choose making fun of it, like their commentary as they read.

I'll see if I can find a good example.

Ah nice, my attempt at is is still online, even though it hasn't been linked on my site in years.

http://www.dreamers-sanctuary.com/darkmst.html

This is my MST of a sci-fi story written by a friend of mine, who told me I could.  I would only do one with the author's permission.  It was her first story, so she didn't care at that point, but I remember it being hard to make fun of. I'm amazed I actually got through 13 chapters of it; I didn't think I'd gotten that far.

I found out about MSTs through my brief foray into Harry Potter fanfic on ff.net.  There was a good one on there of the Marauders (Harry's dad and his friends, for those who don't read HP) reading the Harry Potter series.

Oh I know what Mystery Science Theater is, I just didn't put two and two together. LOL.  I think I've read a few of those for fanfic ...
