Hello and Happy April Fool's Day, although this is not a joke! lol

Our featured story this month is The Other Side of Nick Carter by Ritz. It's a really creative and neat story. If you enjoyed The Ghost Whisperer and The Sixth Sense, you'll enjoy reading this story about Nick being able to see and talk to ghosts.

Let's start by reading chapters 1 - 6 by next Sunday.

1) Tell us one thing about your story that no one else knows?

That this story was originally a Frick and Frack Story. One night I came up with this weird idea that Nick would be investigating Brian's death and he would take revenge to the girl he thought was the reason of Brian's death and fall in love in the process. Then, I thought he would only solve the mystery if he could meet some ghosts, even Brian's ghost, through medium or something. But I didn't have the heart to kill Brian in my story. So I just stayed with the idea of Nick and ghost. Then my love for ghost whisperer kicked in.

2) How long did it take you to write this entire story?

I started September last year and still on-going. I already have the ending for this story, the remaining chapters would depend if I still want to add more missions or not.

3) Give us a summary different from the one you have posted on AC, with a few more spoilers to make people tune in.

Hmmm this is hard, I really like the summary of this story. But if I think of something I'll post it later.

4) What made you come up with the concept of this one? 

I think I already answered it.

5) Who was your favorite character in this story and why?

Nick because he is easy to write, he knows what he wants and what he doesn't want. lol My favorite among the ghosts would be Patty, Leila and Max. If this story isn't about Nick helping ghosts cross over, I would have made Patty stay.

6) You had to know this was coming, who was your least favorite?

Kevin. I love this guy but I just keep forgetting that the first part of the story happened during the Never Gone tour and Kevin was still a member. I had to revise some chapters so I could include Kevin. Sometimes I gave him Howie's dialogue if it would fit him. Among the ghosts, I like Gary the least because he is such a strong one. I find it hard to write him. I guess it was obvious on his story.

7) Are all the boys in this one? If not why did you choose to exclude them?

You are not a bad reader at all. I know how busy you are so I'm happy that you still read this when you have free time. You are not a bad friend, either.

- None. I don't listen to music when I am writing because I get distracted. And most of the chapters were completed in my mind while walking from the office to bus stop, eating my lunch, staring at my computer at work... lol

- Actually, I am scared of ghosts. I am the type of person you have to accompany to the bathroom after watching a horror film, or I'll cover my face once the background music of the horror film I am watching changes. That's why I was actually surprised that I could write about ghosts. Maybe because these ghosts are just like normal people in my story, the only difference is only Nick could see them.

No, I don't think so. I think of a mission first before thinking of the characters not the other way around. They are all product of my imagination.
