I wonder if Nick knows how frequently that situation happens to him lol

I remember fanfic being so addictive to me. It would be the first thing I'd check for in the morning and would spend hours catching up on all the stories I was reading. Then I'd write for hours. My summers were basically all about BSB and fanfic. Now nothing seems to motivate me to read or write it anymore. I noticed even those people who do write, it's dropped off significantly as far as reading or updating. So, my question to you is, what would bring you back to reading and writing? Is there a type of story you want to read or an event you want to write about?

Apparently fans suggested after he told them that idea that he should read fanfic lmao.

Yeah, seriously. He probably thinks all fanfics are porn fests. He probably has no clue how many times he's been tortured and kidnapped. Poor guy lol

I'm really hoping to get back into it in six days when I finish my masters! LOL  It will probably take me longer than that to actually get back into that mindset, but that is the main reason I have dropped off the face of the earth and stopped updating.  I don't even want to think about fanfic right now because I have so much work to do that I can't afford to let it distract me.  I don't even know why I'm on this forum right now, except for that I randomly clicked on it and got caught up reading this thread.  Ahh... no!  Six days...  Then I'll be back!

I'd love an American Horror Story type loads of films and I also love Nick's suggestion for the Howie story :)

I'd love to get back into writing, I've been too pre-occupied with selling my house and trying to find another one.  It's been a hard as we don't want to move, but the ex wants his share and we can't afford to buy him out, so are having to downsize :(  Not sure when I'm moving yet, but maybe August.  At least I've found a house now, so that's one less thing to stress over.

Ugh that sucks! I'm sorry you have to move but I'm glad you finally found a house. I'm sure once you get moving maybe some excitement will kick in? I guess you can consider it a fresh start with your new hubby! Good luck with your move. If I was there, I'd totally help you at least pack stuff out. Not too good with heavy lifting though lol

I've just kind of switched fandoms, to be honest. I've just lost interest in BSB fandom (though I never imagined that was a possibility) and have moved on to Outlander fandom. I'm writing fanfic still, just not BSB. :/ I do miss this place, though and fondly remember when it was the first place I checked every morning and there would be dozens of posts to catch up on!

I would probably enjoy Outlander if I had access to it. I was a huge fan of Highlander. I used to be as obsessive of that as I was of BSB. I wanted to marry Adrian Paul. I'm currently un obsessed with anything at the moment. I wish I were.

Thanks!  I'm back!  I'm DONE!!!  After spending a month staring at a computer screen, I took a few days away from the computer, but now I'm trying to get caught up in fanficland so I can hopefully make some writing happen this month.

That is stressful!!  Glad you found a house; good luck selling yours!

Aww... sorry to hear that, but glad you're still writing something.  I also miss coming here to find dozens of new posts to read!  I have been MIA the last few months, though, so I'm part of the reason there haven't been.

I'm still writing. I haven't had something good to read in a long time though. I'd want to see more group stories, ones about them when they were younger. Or something about them now
I love canon. Which is funny cause I've been writing AU recently. But I want a good group fic.

^ Agreed!  I haven't read any fanfic in awhile; I need to take some time to browse AC and see what people are writing these days.  I've been out of the loop.  Is anyone reading (or writing) anything they'd like to recommend?
