Question about the Debates

are debates normally a heated place to discuss things? i come to them all the time (political, music, any etc.) and they've always been a place to just debate and not personalize things to the hilt. i mean, are there any people who just debate?  :-\

haha we'll see. the debate thread only showed up like last week cause Mare got bored. (brilliant move though Mare, I love it. It made us all very chatty again yay!)  Or maybe it's just the rain. I know I get way more chatty when I'm cooped up all day. And I haven't been able to shut up around here lately.  :D

Actually the debate board showed up because people were fighting in the other threads lol

Yes, they are normally a heated place to discuss things. The point is to debate your own personal opinions of things on that board rather than taking it into other threads.

Heated meaning something other than going back and forth.

I think because its almost the 30th and I'm like on the edge of my seat for the record. I swear I'm gonna be like the first person to get it. First person in Ca that is.  ;D

Well when there's more people online sometimes it's impossible to even get a back and forth going because there are so many people posting.
