Aww yay finally Shelby's art work is being appreciated! I love how much she's loving school.
And OMG i so knew she was going to have a car accident. It's why AJ didn't want her driving when she was pregnant. Esp with what happened to Ro. No wonder he burst into tears at the hospital.
Oooh so Shelby's kinda having second thoughts about moving to KY. Times moving quick for her, its no wonder. And with her emotions and everything being all over its understandable. At the end of the day she just wants to be with Mason.
Author's Response: I know I really love that the school 'gets' her. She's much happier for it. And yes I had to put in a car accident. I'm so mean to AJ, lol. But at least no one was really hurt! The Mason/moving drama continues...

love it... cant wait for more... and yeah Ally. I have been asking the same question... why can't Mason move to Shel... not Shel to Mason. A girl (esp. one 17) needs her momma around after she has a baby.

I knew it! I knew Shelby was gonna be in an accident once I started reading about AJ letting her drive. I'm glad she and the baby (Brenna) are okay. And Ally is so sweet, I hope Shelby doesn't crush her with the news if she does move to Kentucky. Great job. :)

I'm in a bit of a hurry but I didn't get the change to say which name I prefer. You should go with....JOLEE! Why? Elizabeth just don't fit with the Mcleans. I mean you're using names as Shelby, Molly, AJ....and so on. A Joleen aka Jojo would be perfect ;) But Brenna is also a nice name.
Author's Response: Jolee was trailing by quite a bit, but when you have a chance to read American Honey you'll see Brenna won. :) Elizabeth was quite traditional wasn't it? LoL. I have to admit I was partial to Jolee but I'm okay with Brenna. :)

Oh I can imagine AJ being exactly like that. And to think he has 1 more daughter to go. I think Mason should consider moving to Florida. Shelby would be closer to her parents. Keep up the awesome work.

But Shel wants to move to KY and has announced it, YET she's going to Brooke's party in her story and they are in Florida.... so am i right in saying she didn't go??

I know it said it in my little review yesterday, but i LOVE Elizabeth for a name. Jolee is pretty too though, and VERY Shelby haha!
So glad she passed her test. And hahaha t the cops for pulling her over after Aj told her to go slow. Take that daddy!!
Love that Mason was there when they found out the sex of the baby. He's so hands on and i love it.
It's about time Shelby spoke up about moving to Kentucky. I think it shows maturity, at the fact she wants to be dependant and live with the father of her baby. Of course she has NO idea what will be in store. I mean if they actually do get a place of their own theres the matter of bills and everything, as well as caring for a small baby and Mason more than likely having to work as well as go to school. Maybe Shelby hasn't quite thought everything through JUST yet, but the fact she's voiced it to her parents is a start.
And I'm craving an update now. Should be sorting through a load of stuff but I'm cheating haha... sat on here reviewing like i should of last night!
Author's Response: LoL well you'll get a couple updates today! In between homework...ugh I hate reading textbooks! I'm officially closing the 'name' contest. One of my readers broke the tie when I checked my 'updates' thread on the message board. So, you'll see the name pop up on American Honey today! And, you're exactly right that Shelby has NO idea what's in store for her, but at least she kinda knows what she wants and is vocalizing it. :)
