OH FUCK!
"I asked Claudia for an amniocentesis in order to get a DNA test done," Baylee explained. We had a fight, I left for an hour and the next thing I knew she called me and said she was miscarrying."
---Claw is EVIL!
"I asked the doctor to do a chromosome test. DNA's part of that."
"Does Claudia know you did that?" I asked. Baylee shook his head.
"She's going to kill you," I said.
Baylee let go of Marcie's hand and stood up. He shoved his hands in his pockets. His right foot practically pawed at the ground.
"I had to do it. I need to know. If the baby wasn't mine, I'm getting an anulment. I can file a charge of fraud."
--Bay is MALE he is the alpha male!
"Rachel just got your blood results in today. They got lost in the shuffle."
---FUCK! You told us that Shel would be the only one... but I know that put Frick and Frack as grandparents were more appealing than anything!
"I know. But...the blood test is like the Bible," Marcie explained. She put her hand on my arm.
"But I can't be," I sputtered. "I called Noah already. We're not doing anything below the waist. Well, I mean, he isn't. And, and..." I shook my head. "I feel fine. Seriously."
---Lord... let's get the Bible read...
"No," I said. No. Are you kidding me? Mom's out there sobbing, dad's probably on his way over here and Baylee's deranged wife is in a room down the hall babyless! I can't!"
Marcie let me take a moment to catch me breath. When she spoke again she sounded like she did when we were in session.
"I'm so proud of you that you're thinking about everyone else Kayleigh, but this time they really do need to be thinking of you."
I snorted. "Okay, see here's the thing. My dad's bandmate's daughter got pregnant at sixteen with my dad's cousin's son's baby. My dad's cousin happens to be in the band too. So, I mean, this can't happen to me. It should only be allowed to happen once among bandmates. It's been done already. Noah and I are in the clear. We'll become parents when we're like twenty-five or something."
Marcie seriously looked at me like I had lost my mind.
----Now I understood the babies there and Kay reaction... it was weird indeed... well, she's better. This baby will make good for her.
I smiled. "Shelby's our one-third! Me being pregnant would just mess up the statistic!"
"Kay, what's two out of six?" Marcie asked.
"One-third, but...oh."
"Hon, I know you don't want to tell your mom and dad today. I understand. But you're going to have to do it soon. When did you and Noah have sex?"
More math. I was beginning to see the importance of that damn subject.
"About four and a half weeks ago."
---hahahha I loved her explaining the BSB saga and her math.... JESUS!
I nodded again. She gave me a long look before she walked out. The door sounded a million times louder when it closed behind her. My heart began to flutter uncontrollably.
I was a statistic.
---You are reality sweetie!
All part of God's plan. I glanced down at my half-eaten basket of fries. Why in the world would God give a sixteen year old who had tried to commit suicide just a few months ago a baby?
--God's that good to put you in life track again! Babies usually makes you work...
Baylee glanced at me. I had never realized we could hold silent conversations, but we were getting pretty good at it.
---Brotherhood... this is making Littrells closer to themselves and to the reality!
"You're spoiling me," he teased.
"Noah, we have a problem," I said.
"What's wrong?" he sounded concerned.
"My blood test came back and I am pregnant," I said in a rush.
"WHAT?!"
There was a bump and what sounded like a million marbles hitting the ground.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck," Noah muttered. There was another loud noise. It sounded like he was taking half of the house down with him.
"What's going on?" I asked.
"I just knocked everything over in dad's studio. Fuck. I think I broke my toe."
I pinched the bridge of my nose.
"Which toe?"
There was another scuffling. "Don't worry about my toe. Are you sure?"
--- Which toe! Kay is the best.... Carter we have a problem... they will live this FOREVER!
"I started asking mom questions this week. She told me I was her sneaky baby. The stick test didn't work for her either. She only found out through bloodwork."
"No."
"Yeah."
---Carter thing.. sneakiness!
"KAYLEIGH?"
I let out a scream. My phone dropped in the toilet. Mom banged on the stall door.
"Kayleigh Danielle, come out here right now! Did I hear you right?"
--- I KNEW SHE WAS THERE! LEIGHANNE IS ALL ABOUT RADAR... sometimes.
Mom looked like she had just been a pinata at a kid's birthday party. I had never seen her look so disheveled and, well, old.
"You're pregnant?" she asked. My eyes filled with tears.
"I think so," I said uncertaintly.
Mom stared at me for almost a full minute. The next thing I knew, she had her arms around me.
"What in the world is going on with my children?" she asked. I knew she didn't expect me to answer.
I honestly didn't have a clue.
---Oh boy... I love Leighanne! Poor thing, she knows that she won't be a grandmother, that Bay married to a whore, that her son would be divorced and NOW she founds THAT way that she WILL be a grandmother.. of Kay's baby! JESUS! She is strong!
Carters... well, I think Carters will be worse.... Brian will be like... 0.o
NEXT! PLEASE! LORD!
P.S.: AJ will say a LOT to Carter!

It turns out I didn't need the blood test results. An hour after Baylee dropped me off, I started. It was probably the first and only time I was ever happy to get my period.
---When you're too nervous, sometimes that happens...
Okay, so I was being a little dramatic.
--LITTLE?? You are a LITTRELL!
I was trying not to think about Marcie on the desk. I bit the inside of my cheek.
---Try harder! lol
"He better learn that drive throughs don't work for babies," she said.
My heart dropped a little bit. Mom and dad were going to be so disappointed that they weren't going to be grandparents. Of course, I didn't feel bad enough to make that come true.
---sighs..
Noah was officially cut off from anything below the waist.
At least for the next year. Or two.
I just had to be strong. I just had to resist the Carter force.
---I REALLY don't know about that... it's a Carter thing...
"No more nookie for us for awhile," I said.
There was a pause.
"Seriously?"
"Yes, seriously!"
--hahha I could SEE Noah laughing, stopping and saying that! Poor young man..
"Right," I said suspiciously. "Why? What did you have planned for Halloween?"
"A lot of treats...and a couple tricks."
"NOAH!"
"What?"
"Right in your parents house?"
I could almost see his grin.
"I'm a rebel."
I rolled my eyes.
---I can't say a single thing.. I suck for rebels...
"Nothing below the waist," I said.
"Yours or mine?"
I bit my lip. The force was bad. Real bad.
"Mine."
"I can make that work," he said.
---YOU tell me!
"She lost it," he said quietly.
Mom burst into tears. Baylee wrapped his arms around her. His eyes locked onto mine.
I could tell there was a story. I was dying to know what it was.
---Oh boy... I don't know what it's worse... lost or what... poor Leigh and Bri!
"Those babies are homeless!" I wailed.
"Calm down," she said. She gave me a tight hug. I didn't know how she could always be so in control. Even when I saw Baylee banging her on her desk, she didn't flip out. Marcie pulled away and wrapped her arm around my shoulder. She walked me down the hall to a waiting room. I wiped my eyes furiously.
---Oh boy, so much for life... she's tender. And what's up with the babies??? I know it's sad and all, but, I know your writing JEN!
"Mar?" Bay said in surprise. There was a heavy silence in the air. Mom broke it.
"Mar?" mom asked Baylee. "When did you start calling her Mar?"
I looked at everyone in turn. Mom's face was streaked with tears. Baylee looked like he just wanted to find a corner and sleep for a hundred years. And I could just see the love and concern for Baylee in Marcie's face.
Don't ask me why, but I also thought about those two orphaned babies again.
I leaned forward and began to sob.
---FUCK! o.0 And the babies again...

Date: 10/31/10 02:11 am Title: Chapter 41
I had a sneaking suspecion when Marcie asked h ow SHE was doing. I didn't count her out being pregnant until that blood test came back.
You got a LOT of shit to write in less than 10 chapters...lol!!!
Author's Response: You're telling me. This one's going to be a LITTLE bit longer than that. LoL not enough for a sequel, but still...longer than 50.
Date: 10/31/10 01:58 am Title: Chapter 41
To Legihanne she would know whats was going on with her children if she actually took the time to listen to them and pay attention. Also she would realize what a witch Claw-dia was before this. I only hope Kay is ok and they don't react too harshley towards her. We don't need another AJ and Kevin keeping their kids apart moment. I am glad that Bay is taking action to find our if the baby is his.
Author's Response: Bay's redeemed himself in my mind. I've changed around this story SO much since I've started writing it. There's a thread in the Community discussing the power of character's altering their storyline, and Kayleigh has totally f-ed with me. I know that sounds weird, but it's true.

Date: 10/30/10 10:12 pm Title: Chapter 40
Yeah no babies for Kay right now. She is still getting her life back together. Now I still think Claudia is a slimeball, sleezeoid, crusty, worthless ho bag but no baby deserves to die. Not even hers. If she really was pregnant. Lying ho. I also want to know why Marcie asked her if she was ok. Something funny is going on. And the two orphaned babies made me sad. Keep up the excellent work.
Marguerite
Author's Response: Yes, I have no doubt you still hate Claudia. But even Kay agrees w/you on the baby thing. hmmm lots of questions this chappy
