Really like this chapter, however, when i went go check out "a talk with dad" i was unable to read it, i don't know if im clicking the wrong link or because im on my phone, could you let me know what im doing wrong?

Oh, and fuck Claudia for not coming to see Kay, just proves how selfish she is.
Author's Response: Well he knows about Leighanne. Anyone interested can reference back to Chapter 34 of WTB. Claudia is selfish. I was going to write the scene where she WAS there but glaring at Kay like it was all her fault, but really...the damn girls been through enough. It was easier to leave her at the hotel!

i read the LJ post too! i'm glad kay is alright for now, im glad she and brooke both want to still be friends, they need each other. also, thank god brian and leighanne finally took their faces out of their bums! cant wait to read more!

Woohoo! she's awake! Awe, I am soooo glad that Baylee stayed. I woulda hated him forever if he'd left. Oh hellz, that sux that her mom went thru it... too bad the wedding clouded her, or she'd have seen the signs. (cuz she should know the signs, after all) So glad Brooke & Noah showed up.

Author's Response: Leigh was totally blinded. There's a lot of self blame going on. Brooke and Noah wouldn't have dared leave (Baylee either) without seeing Kay. It's the whole thing that people DO care whether Kay realized it o not. Noah is so totally in lurve!

Fallen Angel - so happy that Brooke and Kay friendship never ended but it will take alot for that friendship 2 end. This is the first step for Kay in dealing with it and most important so believing in herself
Nick n Noah talk - loved it Nick was right let Kay heal first and find herself then start thinking more about it bc if he start now at will only end bad for both of them.
As for Trevor I think he got a very good reason for going b/c by the looks of thinks that boy crazy for Brooke
Author's Response: I couldn't ruin their friendship...a lifelong friendship like that is way too hard to break apart. I know the 'talk' wasn't totally exciting, but Nick had a good mix of jokes and sage advice. Kudos to Nick :) Stay tuned for Trevor info!

Oh btw I loved the talk Nick had with Noah. Very good coming from Nick & he didn't try to hide his past. And he was honest about things being different with Brooke. I still think Trevor has a good reason for leaving. Keep up the damn good work.

OMG! WHERE CAN I START????? LORD!!!
Leigh made up for all her faults with just those moments, she understand how Kay feels. The thing is, Leigh should have talked more to Kay, show that you can open up with the right ppl. Kay is used to see her mom as a Diva, when she is more than that.
Oh and Bri.. oh my Lord. He's.. poor man!
Brooke and Kay are friends, and friends are just like this. Sometimes one needs to go and do things that we don't want nor like. She needed to do that. Kay understood, that shows that she isn't that kid. Plus, she allowed her mom to be closer. That's something. Now it's the hard part. Face the reality and that she is a good girl.
OOOHHH and the Carters talk! Jen, how you can do that??? I will write my thoughts here, since there Idk where!

Its going to be a tough road for her. But it sucks that something like this has to happen for her parents to realize something was wrong. But what's done is done. I was really hoping for a Brian POV chapter though. Something like this killed a little something inside him. Great work.
Listening to Wakey!Wakey!'s, War Sweater while reading the last chapter gave me chills.
Author's Response: I don't think I'm strong enough to do a Brian chapter. Nick gets angry and energized when a problem occurs, but I have a feeling Brian would do more internal soul searching and prayer. And I'm not strong enough to delve into that. It does suck that it took this for Brian and Leigh to realize, but it also took Brooke stepping up as well...
