Ah...the long-awaited Kayleigh spin-off. I've been anxiously waiting for this one. Interesting that Kayleigh feels that Noah's too good for her. Can't wait to read what Claudia's like and how Brian and Baylee treat her. And how Baylee's wedding and Kayleigh's birthday goes. Amazing start. :)

For me this is a really sad story, more so because my mom is so great she is actually my partner in business and everything else. Also, like I said in the beggining of American Honey,in personalities, I'm Brooke and my bf is Kay. This story makes me see how true it is!!!
But I'm loving it, and as allways I cant wait for more!! Excellent job!!
Author's Response: Well I hope it won't be a sad story all the way through - I AM aiming for some dramedy in here! :) My mom and I are like Brooke and Liv so I know what you mean. I have friends who have relationships more like Kay and Leighanne and it makes me kind of sad. There might be hope though. The Littrells are pretty awesome. :)

btw, just one minor correction... wouldn't it be Nick'n'Liv's 16th anniversary.... if Kay is turning 16?
Author's Response: Glad everyone's so excited about Kay's story! It's going to be fun. :) and Argh that's right...I forgot...in Brooke's story Nick was doing little things each month for the whole year of their 15th...so I guess they'd wrapping up in a big way. I'll change that...good eye!

I'm lovin' the fact that Brian and Leighanne are going to get a work-out when it comes to Kayleigh. They deserve it for putting her on the back burner for so long. And wouldn't it be fun to find out somewhere down the line that their precious Baylee isn't so precious? LOL can't wait for more!

I love that you branched off of your other stories, because I loved them as well. Love Brooke's story, and this one already too! Some things that you remember to include from other stories are amazing to me because you are able to remember them all. Love it.
Author's Response: All of these characters all seem very real trapped up in my head. I'm surprised at the little details I remember, lol. I haven't even gone back and reread anything yet. Once I do I'm sure I'll find a million things I want to change. :)

I like this banner better...it's funny but I'm taking a course on Gender and Media and the girl I chose for my old banner for this story was actually in a huge print campaign to sell cars. I almost gasped out loud - I knew I couldn't use it because everytime I looked at it I thought about BMW's. :)

Hey it showed up on the most recent page! Woohoo :) I haven't read the other coaster girls stories, but this one looks interesting. I kind of love Leighanne in this story so far.. so oblivious lol.. I also really like Kayleigh's tone. Very sarcastic, so awesome. I'm interested to see where this will go!
Author's Response: Yup, Julilly told me that she got a new story to show up under my account but any more updates won't show up on the main page until this problem is fixed. Just keep checking back. :) Oblivious is a good word for Leighanne...she's very one-tracked mind at the moment, lol. Kayleigh is sarcastic...she's a little cynical. Since you haven't read the other girls stories that's all I'll say for now!

Really like the start of this story..
Now i feel sorry for Kayleigh, she seems so insecure and I think thats way she puts on a tough face and gets into trouble to get noticed..When she said she didn't deserve somone like Noah I felt so sorry for her..
Her parents need to open their eyes and see that their babygirl isen't getting the attention she deserves and needs..
This review would have been so much easier to do in my own language, but at least I tried :)

Author's Response: Yeah, I got to thinking that if she looked as babyface as she did on the first banner that some of the trouble that I plan to get her into was going to be pretty hard to pull off. The mintue I saw the picture I thought - 'wow that so totally looks like Leighanne!' :)
