Ok..so in this chapter, we learn who the father was who walks her down the isle. My only question now is, was this father her TRUE father? I mean, her mother had just left Patrick soooooooo..are they gonna do a DNA test?? But I'm glad she finally reads the letter..and Nick will be THRILLED..lol But its interesting to read just how history repeated itself so closely in Ashley's life.

Okay, so theory time: Oliver is not Nick's because Chris gets out and rapes Ashley, shoots Nick. The bullet becomes lodged in Nick next to a vital artery or somewhere they can't surgically remove it from without killing him, and in his seventies the bullet moves and finally kills Nick. Ashley pines for Nick and dies within a year, unless the Carter babies do their job and cheer up mummy, which they better!
I'm really hoping to be wrong about most of these and that the reality is much kinder. I think it's interesting though that statistically speaking, the mortality rate of the surviving spouse in a couple increases sharply the year after their partner's death. I know my grandma had a hard time coping after my grandfather passed away a few years ago, but she's had our entire family to support her and be there for her.

Wow...Chris held a grudge for THAT long? Or what...the bullet shifted? So maybe he was shot years ago and they couldn't remove the bullet and it killed him years later...hmmm, so many possibilities. Can't wait to find out tho! This story is killing me worse that the others!!!!
