LOL at the comments about Kevin's driving like a senior citizen. I'm kind of surprised they all agreed to go into hiding so quickly, but I guess anything to protect their families. I would have thought Nick, at least, would have argued more about not talking to Lauren before he left. How horrible for her to have to think he's dead just because he couldn't call her. Seems AJ is a bit jealous over Frick and Frack being back; I picked up on that in the last chapter too. That plus Nick and Kevin's bickering will make the group dynamic interesting as they're all stuck together LOL.
Author's Response: They did kind of agree to the whole situation rather quickly, but I suppose they all felt as though they really don't have much choice. If I were Lauren, I would legitimately lose my mind if I thought that my soon-to-be husband was dead! Good job noticing AJ's jealousy.

Ooh, I'm liking this latest twist. While it's not exactly a new storyline, it's been awhile since I've read one of these stories, and I love the idea of the boys having to "disappear" into Witness Protection or whatever it would be considered in this case. Good way to keep them together and cut out their families LOL. Can't wait to see where this goes next!
Author's Response: It's definitely not a new story line, but I'm glad that you're interested anyways. At first, I thought about keeping their families involved, but then I decided that it would be too much work. Haha! Speaking of stories with an original story line, when are you going to update Sick as My Secrets?!?! (No pressure or anything ... LOL)

Aww, this was such a heartfelt Frick and Frack chapter! I loved it! I would never wish bad things for Brian's marriage, but I'd like to think he and Nick have had conversations like this. They have seemed closer the past couple of years, but then again, the whole group has. Anyway, I like how you've written their friendship.
Author's Response: I really do love the whole Frick and Frack relationship (regardless of whether or not it is manufactured for the fans' benefit). Like you, I'd like to think that they could have these kind of chats as well. It warms my heart to see how close the whole group has been lately. :D

I'm back! Finally all moved in, done with classes, and ready to catch up on some fanfic! I have a lot of reading to do, but I'm looking forward to it! I had to find where I'd left off. I like how you explained Nick's lack of communication through the guys' questions and his answers. It seems a little bit too convenient, but still plausible that he could be that out of the loop. Now I'm wondering about this so-called stalker guy who went out of his way to look just like Nick. Creepy. Was he a harmless weirdo who got himself , or is there more to the story than that? I'm thinking there's more. Looking forward to finding out! The beauty of falling so far behind is that I don't have to wait for chapters for awhile! :)

It's amazing how quickly I forget what happened in what chapter of my own story! LOL Yes, the fact that Nick was so cut off from the rest of the world was quite convenient, but I needed a way for him to come back and Nick isn't exactly the most observant person in the world so I thought that it could be plausible. I love that Nick hid behind Kevin and Brian latched onto AJ to keep them from taking him... And Nick frantically checking Howie if he got shot was cute too. I effing love this story. Seriously I was gonna nominate you for Rose's Fanfic awards but someone beat me to it, this is the story of the summer.

When they were on the Never Gone tour shortly before Kevin bailed, AJ was dating one of their opening acts which was this 17 year old girl named Kaci. It was odd and creepy because he was probably close to if not already 30 by then. *shudders* And good point about Nick, the other three are borderline gnomes in size comparison. I had actually left a much longer review for you but for some reason half of it got cut off and now I don't remember what I had said. I think it had to do with Brian and how in my head it was so weird to think he would try to fend off anyone. Again he's a gnome, maybe bite someone's ankles lol
Author's Response: Wow!! I really don't remember the whole Kaci/AJ relationship. I don't even remember someone named Kaci opening for them, nor do I have any idea what she looks like. LOL It annoys me to no end when I write a long review and then it gets lost. I can NEVER remember what I wrote. :( Also, Brian may be a gnome, but he's a strong, handsome gnome. Bahahaha!

I thought it was adorable that Nick hid behind Kevin for protection, it's seems like such a Nick thing to do. And AJ, should you really be the one chastising Nick for goading a younger fan since you used to date fifteen year olds? LOL That Kaci girl ring a bell?...seriously. I'm glad Howie wasn't shot. Poor Howie! And this girl is pretty cuckoo! Seems to me she would have benefited more by spending less of her money on the boys and more on therapy!

Or, I just blocked it out of my mind forever. Who the heck is Kaci?? - LOL Nick's not dumb ... he knows that Kevin is the only one who is big enough for him to hide behind. And my heart rate just got faster... I am sooo nervous and excited. woohoo!!! :D dang! AJ and that tongue of his... i hope he'll learn to hold it next time, if there will be a next time for him., Howie is so close from getting hurt, nick is super terrified, I can almost see him loosing it. Kevin, Im sure will start the big brother role more seriously than he had ever been. and my oh my! Brian, what courage! I just hope it also doesn't get him into more trouble, he already got the goons pissed twice, and I can imagine they are double his size. (though its cool cause I like brian in trouble.) haha!! this fan is definitely nuts!!! she is far from obsessed. she is 100% messed up. Im so excited for the next chapter, your action scenes are now unfolding! thank you for this wonderfully written chapter and the fast update too. Author's Response: The chances of AJ learning to keep quiet are probably pretty slim. Although, you're right in the sense that he better keep his mouth shut if he wants to live. omg! Lol, I find myself saying that a lot. I love that Brian was so defiant. I can't believe Joey took a shot at Howie. People think about the weirdest things when they're in trouble, I love the too much garlic note at the end. I'm excited to see her version of roulette too. Ooh so so good.
