OH MY CRAZINESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is something, really something! I definitely commend you for writing one hell of an amazing story! :D Your story is progressing wonderfully. I find that this part really speaks about the boys emotions with their "leaders" gone. :) and the chapter before speaks the emotions of Kevin & Howie being the ones captive and definitely not in control. far from their roles as the eldest in the group. Then here comes the push of their enemy/crazed fan. Really? broadcasting Howie & Kevin? It is extremely obvious that she is luring the other 3. and Im sure she's gonna get what she wants if these kids will rush into action. and to think that she uses their site for all its worth! she really wants attention and to let the boys know how in control she can be. also, how will she work her anger? extremely allured by Nick? what did he do anyway? haha!! you got me working alot of things in this story. amazing, I am just so amazed! haha!! truly cant wait for you upcoming chapters. :D thank you for this one!! ^_^
Author's Response: Thanks so much!! Sarah is totally trying to lure the other guys. Sadly, her plan will probably work. You may be surprised when you find out what it is that Nick actually "did" to Sarah. Thanks for showing so much excitement! :D

Well.... If Nick feels guilty now, he's going to be feeling super when he finds out this girl has it out for him specifically. She put a live feed out? Oh man, they need someone like Garcia from criminal minds to help them out! The guys just need to hire some outside help or something. These cops aren't worth a damn. Argh. Lol. Btw, I can't see AJ getting the upper hand on Brian like that. Hehe. But this is fiction right. Maybe Brian was tired from the run still. I am excited for what's next though. Happy weekend to you!
Author's Response: OMG can you imagine the chaos that would ensue if I were to throw Garcia into the mix? I can imagine her and AJ getting along ... they're both interesting characters. LOL - I can't really see AJ beating Brian in a fight either, but I needed AJ to win in order for the scene to wrap itself up. I'm just gonna go with the idea that Brian kind of let AJ win because he didn't want to hurt him. :P

Okay, this chick needs to be their manager because getting them back in the spotlight was brilliant. Okay, so she killed someone and is slightly nuts. You gotta admit, her tactics work! LOL and of course it's Nick's fault! Of course she's one of his insane fans! I bet that's what both Howie and Kevin were thinking. I do have to say, good choice of name. I have to admit, every Sarah I have ever met is kind of crazy-ish. I hope none of them die because of this. No dead BSB's slightly maimed...okay not dead! ;O)
Author's Response: LOL - I have to agree that she would make an excellent manager. Clearly, the boys' current manager needs to try a different tactic because I think I heard In A World Like This all of three times on the radio when it was released. If I were Howie and Kevin, I would have been cursing Nick the entire time. In all fairness, the majority of Nick fans are nice, sane, friendly people. It just seems that every time my friend and I come across a total nut-job at a show she has 'Nick' scrawled across her forehead in war paint (or something equally strange). I'm glad that you approve of them being "slightly maimed". :)

Wow! Not quite what I was expecting, but then revelations from psychopathic obsessed fans rarely are. ;)
It's a good thing Kevin and Howie are the first to be in this predicament... the others would never have won this particular guessing game. Kevin and Howie's combined lying and deduction skills made the other guys' answering of those forum questions look like amateur hour.
I have to admit it makes a lot of sense for the villain to be after Nick. She clearly wants everyone to suffer, sort of as a way of exacting punishment by proxy, but only when and where convenient.
I do wonder how she will round the rest of the Boys up. I expect they will stick close together, so where one goes (off the proverbial cliff) the others will follow.
Your chapters are consistently engaging,å and I hope you'll update again soon! Might some forum-lurking be in store next?
Author's Response: Sarah is a little off her rocker, so her reasoning is a bit scattered. But, like you said, she's a psychopath and is therefore not expected to be the most logical thinker. If you think she's a bit crazy now, just wait until she reveals the details behind her reason for going after Nick. LOL I have to agree that the situation would have turned out a lot differently if AJ, Brian and Nick had been the ones attempting to get information out of Sarah. At least Kevin and Howie took the time to think things through. The other three would have just started screaming and probably would have ended up getting killed or something. *rolls eyes* Finally, you are correct in that the next chapter will go into some forum-lurking. :)

I love how he said it should be Nick and Brian in the room. That's funny because most stories like this don't have Kevin and Howie trapped but that's why I love it. The girl Sarah is a nut bar and I am really excited for where you take this now LOL.

Author's Response: Yeah, Sarah is definitely a bit of a psycho creeper. LOL - I totally agree with you about the lack of coordination. If I was Kevin, I probably would have cut one of Howie's fingers off by mistake. Oooops! The mystery surrounding Sarah's helpers will be revealed ... eventually.
Also, good to know that the Internet problems extend all the way down to Texas!!

Wow, I'm glad I never tried to access that forum. I did not know a single answer to any of those questions! I wonder if that actually exists? Where you need to answer questions to be able to join. Maybe we should do that on AC, only instead of answering questions you have to write a few sentences grammatically correct! LOL
I loved the line AJ said about being happy that Brian had things in his life he wasn't proud of as well. I have a feeling he's not as much of a saint as people think he is and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if infidelity was one of those things. It would also make sense why his dreadful wife has such a choke hold on him most of the time as well. Looking forward to seeing who this person is. I don't think it's a crazed fan though. She seems to smart and well thought out to be someone who had a one night stand with the guys and now wants revenge.

LOL - I almost died from laughing at the thought of people having to compose grammatically correct sentences in order to join AC!! I teach English, so I have no trouble imagining how hard that would be for some people.
There is no doubt in my mind that Brian has a very strong faith, but I agree that he is in no way a saint. I'm not really sure where that perception of him has come from. To me, he doesn't come across as being overly perfect. As someone else mentioned in a review, he is likely a "closet freak" LOL

First of all, I loved your AJ in this chapter! The borderline crazy yet brilliant idea to join the forum, the skirting of the rules to conduct their own investigation (hard to resist when laptops are just left lying around), and his almost unexpected moments of commiseration with Nick and compassion or tact towards Brian.
Second, I feel as though the Brian mystery is now beginning to unfold and suggest connections to the villain's activities. For instance, it occurs to me that the choice of Nick for the apparent homicide earlier on may have been coincidentally or deliberately made on the basis that it is the death that would most hurt Brian. Also, I can't help but think that Leighanne in this story could be directly or indirectly involved in what is happening, in light of Brian's admission of infidelity. Which, by the way, is refreshingly real in how it highlights imperfections in an often idealized character and shows to what extent his conduct in this regard clashes, in Brian's own estimation, with his own self-image and values.
Last, I appreciate how though all of this, you're managing to inject humour into the situations and dialogue, even if it's rather black or ironic from time to time. ;)

Author's Response: That's an interesting theory about Brian's role in all of this. You're not the only person to mention that Leighanne might be playing a part in this whole situation. I feel as though Brian's character is often portrayed (as you said) as overly innocent. In my mind, that's not how he is at all. I kind of went out on a limb in this story to showcase that idea and I'm glad that it seems to be being received well (re: people are not threatening to throw things at me for making him not so perfect - LOL). I will have the next update posted as soon as my Internet connection returns to normal. It's kind of "iffy" at the moment. :(

Wow... i also feels their excitement and anxiety. oh man! this story is getting crazier by the minute. I wonder if they will get this figured out, who their enemy is. Will these boys be able to mask themselves as a crazed fan girl? or will they get caught. my oh my, Joey will still be their body guard? that has trouble written all over it. hehe. Finally, I find you putting along with the story a drama content about the boys relationships with each other as a group very well thought of. it gives the story a deeper meaning and sense, above all these action and suspense. I can't wait for the next chapters, as always. I'll be looking forward for more. :) Thank you for this chapter upload and the one before! ^_^
